What are you waering at night? We leave in 8 days and were wondering how the nights were. Should we bring pants or will shorts suffice?

Thanks!

We just got back last night after a 7 day stay, and we wore shorts & Tshirts the entire time. I can't say for sure what the official temperature was since we were never in our room long enough to watch the weather report, but the days were very hot & humid with not one drop of rain. Nights were much more comfortable, but still warm enough for shorts.

HTH!

tonight, and I have to say boy was it hot! I was very surprised, the days were similar to early June, low 90's, with lows at night around 70. We went to the Halloween Party on Thursday, and it was pretty warm when we arrived at 4:30, luckily, we managed to WALK IN at LTT so by the time we finished dinner it had coled off some. I wore jeans and a sleeveless top, DH wore shorts (smart guy). Kids had on full costume, were pretty warm but didn't complain. I did see where it's supposed to cool off by the end of this week though, you lucky duck! They still swam this morning though, and it was 70 by around 9AM, whereas here south of Atlanta it was 59 this morning!

We didn't think it was too hot. (just got back last night). There were warm moments, but it wasn't that bad. However we live in Arizona and are pretty used to warm temps. Nights were comfortable enough for Ryan to enjoy the pool. We did notice it starting to get pretty chilly around 11pm or so. (yes, we are night owls). We wore shorts and t-shirts the entire time. We did bring light jackets but never needed them.
Have fun!

Today was a beautiful "cool" day here in Orlando... the kind that make the rest of the hot humid summer days worth while... it is cooler tonight, if you were out in it maybe a sweat shirt weather - but I'm not a good judge of when other folks feel the need for outer wear since I've moved here!!!!

We just came back from a 7 day stay (came back on Friday) and I wore shorts/capris at night with a tank top or t-shirt. It was great! Not too chilly, just really nice!!

Have fun!! :cool1:

Oooh, I'm glad to hear it's not too bad anymore. We were down in August and after that trip I said never again to that time of year! My sister works at the Contemporary and I just called her to ask about the weather, but she said she didn't know, she was sick in bed all day! I am trying to pack so I guess I'll throw in a sweatshirt and some jeans.

9pm and it's 74 degrees which I would say is a rather comfortable temperature and for most folks visiting us from further up north a sweat shirt may be an overkill :confused3

I just checked the local weather and mid week is supposed to be warmer again mid to upper 80s- but hopefully the humidity will not be so bad - end of week supposed to start cooling off again for the weekend (Friday 78 degrees - woo hoo), and then back into the mid 80s....

I was supposed to stay in and clean today after being out and about all weekend the past two weekends, and Sea World yesterday, but it was too gorgeous out so we headed to a more local attraction - Jungle Adventure!! It was nice to be outside and not "glisten"!

:lmao: :lmao: I glistened all week! Rephraise that, I sweated! Except when we rode Dudley Do Right (never again) at 10AM on Wednesday morning (not a pretty sight) or Popeye yesterday (put it this way, there was not a single dry patch of clothing on any of us!) Family took off their shoes and socks for Popeye, I had on Crocs. It was so warm yesterday that I actually felt pretty good after that soaking!

I rained last night, not fun for the party goers :( Thunder and lightning galore. What an end to our trip!

Yes this past week was quite warm again, and that storm last night was something. I think it was one of the worst thunderstorms we had all season! We were at Sea World, and when we were leaving it was lightening, then heard tornado warnings had just been cancelled on the way home!!! By the time we got home the storm arrived full force over our area - the lightening was pretty spectacular, with lots of wind and heavy rains..... today was a great outcome to that front though!
