Sago Cay and Conch Key both have rooms that face the general direction of the MK, meaning that if you were sitting on your balcony, you would be looking at it straight ahead. Boca Chica has some end rooms that face the MK, while the other lagoon rooms would require you to turn your head slightly to the left in order to see the castle from your balcony. Big Pine Key also has an end of the building that you will see the castle from by simply turning your head. The main building and Sugar Loaf only house concierge rooms, so those wouldn't be an option for you.
Based on your previous thread, I think it's best that you go ahead an update your requests to include an MK view. If it's that important to you, make sure to have it listed first before any other requests that you've made. As I said in that thread though, I don't think you want to limit yourself to a building request. If they don't have any MK views available, you will probably get assigned to something else in that building instead of the room assignor looking for your view in a different building. As with everything else, if you get to your room and are disappointed with the view, simply call down to the registration desk and ask what else is available. They'll try to do their best, it just all depends on what the resort occupancy rate is at the time you check in.

At one point, the different buildings were either smoking (Boca Chica) or non-smoking (Conch Key) ... is that still the case?
No, this is no longer the case. Only one of the buildings has a dedicated smoking floor. I'm not positive, but I belive it's the 4th floor of Big Pine Key.
