Okay, I am coming back for what I hope is the last time. I did WW last year from May until the end of August, and did really well (somewhere around 32 - 35 pounds, I believe). Got diagnosed with cancer, so I took time off to heal myself. I restarted in March of this year, I believe, but my heart wasn't in it, and I wasn't ready.

So I am hoping that this is the last time I will need to rejoin. I want to get the weight off, and be at 135 pounds (I am 5'4"). My only problem is I am worried that I won't lose as fast as I did last time. In the first 4 weeks of the program, I lost 18.6 pounds. I just don't want to get myself discouraged if the weight doesn't come off as quickly. But I am sure with motivation from all of you, I will reach my goal!

Good for you for getting back on plan! Don't be discouraged, the weight will come off. You're like me, I want what I want, when I want it and I want it NOW, LOL. Hang in there with me, it'll come off. :D At least, that's what they keep telling me! :p

OK, so I weighted in last night, and it was pretty scary! But at least I now know where I stand, and it is onward and downward from here!

((((HUGS)))) for all you have been through. I'm very proud of your decision to commit to a healthy lifestyle and move forward!

i know we all what it NOW! and I totally understand that. I hemmed and hawed for 6 years trying to find that magic quick fix before just realizing I need to make changes for the health of it -- and how much better I feel and the weight loss become the result not the main focus. take it a day at a time, your body and metabolism, energy, etc will take care of it for you. now i'm still struggling with making good eating choices for those very reasons, it will probably be a life long journey for me; but I do understand the product of a healthy lifestyle and it's enough to keep me striving for it!

mini-goals -- that is so key! change one thing at a time, when you are ready -- maybe drinking enough water every day; exercising 6 days a week even if it's only 10 mins each day; elminating a trigger food from your diet; even just eating within your point range for the week. you know your weakness -- take baby steps to conquer!!

it OK really OK if it takes longer!! it's better than it not happening at all!! PD and virtual motivation to you!!! you will succeed!

Welcome back! We missed you.

Welcome back BabyTigger! It's hard when life throws us off our path. I have also had a medical speedbump, but, like you, I am ready to get back on the losing wagon!

OhMom is exactly right. Baby steps and mini-goals are a great way to get started. Before you know, you will be a motivated WISHer!! ::yes:: :teeth:
