?? for Spiderman ride experts

Sunday should be calm down as the tourist head back home...I hope, it wasn't busy at all this time last year so I don't know. I will be out there on Sunday for the last day of Grinchmas and Macy's then one more time probably the 16th then my Annual Pass expires, I will then wait for Shrek and Neutron to open then get another Annual Pass.

Hitchcock is due to close this Sunday too, right?

I think so!

Thanks for reminding me! I haven't seen it in years, and the kids NEVER have, so we'll have to take that in as well.

Gee, is it scary? I feel dumb, but I did it once back in '94, so I have NO idea! Alex doesn't like to be too creeped out!

Karen :smooth:

No, it's not that bad of a show. The most intense part is the showing of the shower scene in Psycho. It's no scarier then T2 or Poseidon's Fury...

The crowds shouldn't be that bad any more. I just returned from EPCOT and the park seemed totally empty after seeing the parks from the past couple of weeks. I know it is another chain of parks but I'm sure that they have died back down already.

I was going to ask that same question, I thought it was today. I seen it yesterday. That show use to be really good until Universal laid off the it's live actor, then the show was the preshow video and the shower scene.

It use to be a big production number.

I would think that all of the Orlando parks were busy through the 4th because alot of areas (such as mine) do not go back to school until tomorrow (the 6th). Also, most of the aircraft manufacturing businesses here in Wichita (including mine) were on Christmas shutdown through today. I'm sure alot of other manufacturing businesses around the country were shut down as well.
I'm just looking forward to the lack of crowds when I'm at UO on Feb. 1st and 2nd :D .

Hitch did indeed close last night. Work has begun on Shrek and continues as I write.

MsDis... I remember last year on the 2nd of January also, I remember mentioning to someone it looked like Orlando had been VACUUMED!

I read in the Orlando Sentinel that every entity in town was shocked that the holiday was stretching out through the weekend. The week was just as crowded at the end as it was in the beginning, which is very rare!

I was going to go to USF on the 2nd for a few hours before I checked into hotel #2 but thought against it. I'm glad I didn't!

If the car stops on the track, that means the ride is having technical difficulties.
Actually, this means that Spidey has landed on Robinrs' Scoop and she won't let him go!;)

On the crowds and the extension of the holiday crush through the weekend, here's my very personal theory:When the world didn't come to an end on Christmas and New Years (like the FBI had been suggesting it would), the whole nation breathed a collective sigh of relief and decided that life was worth living after all.

Just a hunch.
