I keep having trouble posting this thread about a couple of questions I want to ask concerning Fantasmic and also a side trip for our kids. It keeps telling me that this is a duplicate thread that I posted within the last five minutes, and then it redirects me back to the discussions boards. However, my thread never posted to begin with, so how can it be a duplicate? :confused3

Anyhoo...

I'm gonna try one more time to ask these questions.

First, we want to go to Fantasmic on Sunday, Dec. 4th. We've never seen it before. How early should I show up to get a good viewing spot for the 9:00pm showing? AND... Where is the best viewing spot for a family with small children so they can actually see the show?

My other question is, where is the best place to take our two little guys (ages 6 and 2) for a one day side trip where they'll have lots of fun? (Knotts, Legoland, Universal, SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo, or...?)

Thanks everyone! :sunny:

I can't help you with the Fantasmic question, but as far as a side trip I would recommend Legoland. Your kids will really enjoy it as it is very much geared to a younger crowd. The rides and attractions are perfect for the ages of your children. They even have a play area that is just for really little ones like your two year old. Also, it is small enough that you can do it in a day without feeling overwhelmed. Have a great trip!

For the one day side trip, I'd reccommend either Legoland, SeaWorld or the Zoo depending upon your childrens preferences. Legoland has more kiddie rides than SeaWorld while the Zoo doesn't have any, yet the Zoo has lots of neat exhibits, less for SeaWorld (though the penquin exhibit is really neat) and the Legoland ones are all made of Legos (what else??).

As for Fantasmic, you'll probably want to snag a spot by the railing and that should happen 2-3 hours before the show.

Here's a good article on how to pass the time.
