:woohoo: So the Disney Program came to my school today-Baruch College!!! (Excited). (Btw, are there any Baruch students on this site?) I am really excited for the Disney Program. I have my phone interview on Wednesday and am hoping that it goes well.

I would really love to do this program, but I am only 3 classes away from graduating and would most likely be graduating in the Fall '08. I'm a year late graduating. I was supposed to graduate in '07. I hope I get into the program. I've been reading the boards and found some really good info!! Thx guys!! My question is "Do they take students who have recently graduated?" I really want to do this program and might consider doing it for Spring '09 Advantage because I will have been officially graduated in December.

I really dont want to delay my graduation any further becuase I need specific classes to graduate and those classes are always filled up!

Btw, what are some of the questions they ask for the phone interview?

The interview questions are basic...like what prior work experience you have...why you want to work for disney...and what roles your prefer...I am a campus rep(i help disney with recruiting on my campus...unfortunatly we are only interviewing for the fall right now...if you want to apply for Spring 09 you will have to apply again in the fall, and Yes you can go down there right after you graduate, i know a few people that did that, in fact 2 of my 3 roomates had just graduated...i hope this information helps and if you have anymore questions just send me a personal message!

Hey, just wanted to say that I'm graduating in May and was accepted into the Fall Advantage program for this year. I didn't want to push my graduation back either, but they were very understanding of that. So I will have two weeks between graduation and having to be down at Disney. I'm pretty excited about it, I was initially worried that I wouldn't be able to participate because I would have graduated, but I encountered no problems. Hope this helps!

To echo those before - YES! I will be graduating in May and am hoping for Fall Advantage! If you plan on starting a career at Disney, going after graduation seems like a great plan because then you can start trying to work your way up right away!

Btw, what are some of the questions they ask for the phone interview?

If you follow the link to my blog I wrote down every question I was asked - maybe that'll help!

Good Luck on your interview!!!!

Hey guys thanks a lot for the great info, I really apprecaite it! :thumbsup2 I just got off the phone with my interviewer. I told them that I would like to apply for spring advantage. I was a little dissapointed :confused3 that I couldnt go further in the interview, but its understandable since they make a lot of calls. I really do hope that I will be accepted for the Spring advantage program. :santa:

My question is: 99.9% I am graduating this Fall, the .01 being that something happens between now and then. But, my question is, lets say if your doing the program, would they allow you to walk and get your diploma? Like for example, if I graduated in the Fall and want to be a part of the graduation ceremony in spring, would they allow me a day off just to be a part of the ceremony?

I am not quite sure how your school works, but most institutions have a fall ceremony. I know my undergrad (private - 1800 students) had a ceremony in the fall and almost all large public universities do as well. I would look into that!
