what do you do normally if you have a spider in your house....we smoosh it....right......well ....my hubby takes a big elastic.....rubber band to people who call it that....and he aims and fires.....well he missed the other day and he missed yesterday.....this morning....while I was in the kitchen....right over my head goes the band....and smooshes that spider to pulp....of course I had to get the broom and a wet towel and wipe away....gross....but at least the sucker is dead .......there is another way....but I will save that one for another day.....:p

...

I don't belive in killing a creature just because it's in your house. I usually just pick it up with a paper, and set it outside.

KILL IT, KILL IT, KILL IT!!!!

I vaccuum them up, if DH is not around to dispose (or displace RoqueC ;) ) of them.

I let them live there.... because they round up the ants. Unless it's a really creepy daddy long legs like the one that crawled across my desk the other day then you kill it ( well not me... someone braver than I am).... blech.... gives me the creeps thinking about it...

I'm with ROQUE...........there's NO capital punishment in our house:D :D . I try to move them outside as well........

Precisley. The environment shouldn't die because of us. ;)

My mom Dootsie takes EVERYTHING outside.....she will even chase down a water bug and take it outside,

I think shes crazy!! I call John and say KILL IT NOW!!!! I won't kill lady bugs though:)

I let them live as long as no one else sees them ..:o
They eat the numerous other critters in the house..but if dw or dd's see the spider i have to squash it, unless the cats get it first..

is a time and place for capital punishment.....I also believe in any critter that does not belong in my house is history......besides the north side of the house has zillions of those....I guess I will get my hubby and the diazanon and spray those suckers.....

WOuldn't want them to think they can move in uninvited.....

Well, if you feel the need to slowly kill the ecosystem, go ahead. Don't come to me when your house is infested with ants...

If I am alone I find the guts to smoosh it myself with paper towels or something like that or I bring out the vacuum cleaner and suck it up. If DH is home he gets rid of it for me! I hate them and am scared to death of them!!!!! Sorry for those who love them and I understand that they are good for the ecosystem and all that, but not in my house. If they are outside, they get to live.

Everyone I know teases me because I don't kill anything except mosquitos and now fire ants. I see no reason to kill something that is doing nothing wrong. I believe in "catch and release". Both my DS's and my Dh know better than to kill, in my presence anyway.

There are only two critters (if you can call them that) that scare me silly. They are spiders and snakes. I can handle roaches, mice and any other bugs that live in the ecosystem. But, I draw the line at these two creatures. So, if a snake or spider wanders into my house it will be tried, convicted and EXECUTED SWIFTLY.

I let it live unless it's something that could hurt me and I don't see a good way to get rid of it without getting hurt. I kill wasps and hornets. I let spiders go unless it looks like it could be deadly. I don't even usually take them outside. But I kill brown recluses and ones that could be black widows. (I'm not brave enough to check their tummies. :))
