For People who have Finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! *Beware Spoilers

Also, I'm suspecting that Harry dies at the end of Book 7, as on People.com today, there was an article about how JK Rowling is preparing a "shock" to end the series (or something to that effect!)

I was thinking that for a different reason. I think she might kill off harry so she leaves no possibility for another book.

"I am dreading it in some ways. I do love writing the books, and it is going to be a shock, a profound shock to me. Even though I have known it is coming for the past 15 years, I have known that the series would end, I think it will still be a shock."

What i think she is meaning is that it will be a shock for her to end the Harry Potter series although that she has known that it would end for 15 years.

It would be too much for Voldemort and the "bad" side to win. It has to be a happy ending. There is already an extreme amount of spectulation about the 7th book

Anyway here are my views on the book

Just finished reading it last night (even though there was no need seeing as my friend ruined it for me )
And i cried all the way through the funeral.Like seriously lol!
It is a very very very good book. The Horcruxes were a brilliant idea, but the book didn't really feel like a Harry Potter book to me.

This might have been because there was not really a mention of other students by name in Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff like the other books. Harry,Ron and Hermione didnt seem to talk to any other students in other houses (apart from Ernie MacMillan and Luna Lovegood). This book just seemed different and, i think i preffered The Order Of The Pheonix (parshly because it was slightly funnier and i like a laugh)

I too think that Draco will return to the "good" side as we have now seen the "good" side of him.
I seriuosly hope that Harry or any of his friends dont die. That would be too much death and despair for me.

I really do love how Ron suddenly became popular with the girls! It's just great and the thing with Hermione. Umm no surprise, we knew it was coming!! But at last Harry and Ginny got together. After 5 books!!! I was practically squealing with delight! And Bill and Fleur's wedding...hmm.....this should be a laugh!!



All in all I loved the book but slightly prefered the other 5

But don't shoot me for it lol

great book, I loved the idea of Horcruxes, and now Hate Snape

Ginny and Harry couple scared me a bit, but I knew it wouldn't last long

I finished the book yesterday and I cried through the entire white tomb chapter. It was so sad. I am re-reading it because I know I missed something important. I really hope that Dombledore is not dead. Maybe he was taking some potion or he had a double. I LOVE these books!

Although i was sad that Dumbledore died, it was kinda obvious that he whould die in this one or the middle of the next one because Harry's going to have to face Voldemort alone at some point.

Also as some people said before about harry being one of the horcuxes, i belive that is very possoble because HArry's probably really the only one to defet him so making him a horcux cld be possible.

Also i think that Snape will return to the good side, not Draco. Thes a very very very slim chance probably but Snape and Dumbledore could have decide that if Snape killed Dumbledore then that would gain voldemorts trust enough the help harry defet him in the end.

Snape will be back in the next book no doubt, he was too strong of of a characture to lose him, she's already killed off Sirius Black and Dumbledore so i think that she really needs Snape.

If Harry doesn't die Ron or Hermionie will. Because of how much the've been though.

Also if Harry is the last of the Horcuxes and he discovers it there is a chance he might kill himself after he destroys all of the other horcuxes and have ron or Hermionie kill Voldemort. The only reason i think he would do this is becuase the two things he really ones id to defet voldemort and to be with his parents.

Also weren't we supposed to learn alot about Lilly Potter in this book? Atleast i heard that. The only thing that it really said about her is that she was really good at potions. Also there might be a connection with her an Snape because in the past books didn't it sound like she had some sympthey towards him? i don't know

We were meant to, but i think that learning about Lily will come in the next book. Hopefully anyway!!!

But Dumbledore isn't really gone is he??? Because there is a portrait of him in the Head's room, with all the other Headmasters/mistresses! So they can still technically ask his advice! Just worked that out there lol

Can't wait for the next book and the next film Goblet of Fire!!!

Same here, I hope that they make the Goblet of Fire like the book, that would be cool,yet violent at the end with Wormtail's arm being cut off, and yah...

The fact that Dumbledore is now a portrait is true that they will still be able to talk to him, but he didn't say a thing when they went into his office did he? he just smiled...
And now that Harry isn't going back to Hogwarts..well he cant ask for advice can he?

I hope in the next book that Harry Ron and Hermoine stay alive

i don't think that J.K.Rowling will leave out Hogwarts from the book altogether. It has played a role too important for it to be left out. Harry will probably be at Hogwarts at some point (even just for a day)

Some more Hogwarts students should also crop up, such as Neville and Luna, as they helped fight the Death Eaters in the OotP

There are heaps of rumors flying around at the moment, we'll just have to wait to see if they are true!!!

And yeah! That would be soo cool. But in released pictures it pictures Harry dancing with Hermione, which i don't recall in the book but hey-ho thats artistic-licence for you lol

J.K Rowling was originally going to sell the 6th book in December, thank goodness she changed her mind or we would all still be dying to read the book

Just finished reading the book a few hours ago, and I will deffinitly need to read it again sometime in a few weeks after i let it all set in, and read it at a much slower pace. Over all i thought it was a good book, the end was very dark.

I believe that the next book will reveal a lot about Snape, for I don't feel that he went and turned on the Order after all. I believe that the argument that Snape and Dumbledore were having earlier was due to that Snape did not want to kill Dumbledore and would of rather given his own life. I feel that Dumbledore still felt that there was some good in Malfoy and did not want him to throw his life away by being the one to commit the the murder. When Dumbledore was pleading to Snape it was for him to commit the murder and to not blow his cover. No one in the Order will ever be able to trust Snape again for a very long time, and Harry will only be able to finally trust him after Snape does somethine to save either Harry's (most likely), Ron's, Hermionie's, or Ginny's life or lives.

I also believe that Harry will return to school for a short period of time before he ventures off with Ron and Hermionie in search of the horcuxes. I believe that more than just the locket have been destroyed already, and no, not by Regulus Black either, for that is too obvious and very un-Jo like. Chances are it is someone that we have never met before but was very well connected to Dumbledore.

Anyways, I know everyone will have their own oppinion upon the book, and I hope that some of you will agree with mine.

10. I can't believe that Harry doesn't want to go back to school. It's understandable. And I think it is great that Ron and Hermione is going to help him find the Horcruxes.

I just finished the book and I cant even TALK about Snape! I am HORRIFIED! As for Sirius, I still cling to SOME hope that he'll return in the 7th book now...there's so many reasons why he might not REALLY be dead. I say...unless we see his body in the book...I'll never rest with the fact that he's gone lol. As for Ron and Hermione....I think we can ALL see where their relationship is headed ....but i'm not too thrilled because i've always loved Ron so much. I dunno...but having just finished the book...i'm numb with shock...
