Careful with used ones; if it has another cat's smell on it, you could end up with the cat spraying or peeing on it

I would get a smaller one first. There are small ones on ebay very cheap($30-$40). If the cat likes it, chances are it will like a bigger one. My cats love ours and they fight over who gets the top perch.

Molly and friends is a really good brand. They're sold mostly in Florida (they do have a website.) We bought a five-tier cat tree for our three cats and they still use it regularly (over a year and a half later.)

It's very sturdy (and very heavy). Bought it from Amazon with free shipping. It arrived fully constructed - delivered by a trucking company.

They do have smaller - and more affordable models. Based on ours, they are much sturdier than those sold at Pet Smart.
