Well one day I may make it out there again but I don't see myself driving all the way across the country again by myself, 3000 miles was a lot to do alone!

I can't even imagine what it was like. Part of me would love it. The pther part would go nuts with no one to talk to.:rotfl:

DIS kept locking up on me. I finally am able to reply. It was a long trip, it was boring being alone though as when I drove through the Great Salt Lakes I was alone and no one to stop and look at it with and I have a tendency to get mesmerized when I am driving long periods and no one was there to keep me alert, but I made it, all 3,000 miles alone! :thumbsup2

Carla is going to help me get the link posted correctly for our new thread...

I tried a few times, but could get the link to work correctly, no matter what I did

Thanks Carla:hug:

You're welcome Sharky :thumbsup2 at least I can do something right in my loopy state :rotfl:

Aww Marshay, that's a shame that DD3 is having such a hard time. Poor baby, it is a big adjustment for them. I hope you get yourself some sleep and get everyone on a good schedule so that you can get some time to come back here as we miss you! Congratulations on your baby's birth by the way. I don't remember if I congratulated you yet or not! :cutie:

thanks!

this evening I took Sharky's advice and had DD3 get the wipes, diapers, creme, etc for me and she seemed really happy to help me out. So I really need to use her more...

I'm coming over to the other link...then going to bed.

That's awesome Marshay, that is what I did when Kelly was born, have my son help me by getting the wipes, I'd let him sit on the couch with a pillow under his arm and put Kelly in his arms and let him give her part of a bottle, he thought he was a big boy then so he was proud to be the big brother and never had a jealously problem! :thumbsup2

Hey All...please don't think I left you. It's been nuts around here and we are having StinkberBelle's family party tomorrow so I've been trying to get ready for that.

Happy Friday!

Miss You All :grouphug:
Hi Betsy:goodvibes
WOW!!! That is a scary ticker on your siggy for sure. I'm sure it'll pick up steam and you'll be able to do a middle school grad present instead of a HS grad present :rotfl2:

ROFL! There's no such thing as starting one too early! Just gives more time for people to jump on board!
If these surveys don't start crediting, it might take closer to 20 years. I'm not going to be able to walk around WDW anymore. I'm gonna need one of those ECV thingies. Especially if I chop off all my limbs in the mean time.

I think that pretrip would definitely have to go on the community board. There's no way I could do THAT much planning.:rotfl:
haha I think you need to make a list for what you need to pack every time you travel so you don't forget anything. Just use the same one each time and then you'll never forget anything.

ah okay. Yeah, OTX drives me insane too. two cents is ok but I HATE when I get to the end of a survey and then it just never credits. That bugs me more than anything. Happened to me yesterday on two cents!!

Well, my vote is for VA Beach. :beach:

awww, i think sharky's idea is good. Maybe you should do that :thumbsup2

:rotfl::rotfl: same here Nikki! You're too funny
The thing is, I always wait until the morning I leave to pack my stuff. Especially stuff like makeup, because I need to use it. Then I just end up putting it away without thinking. I'm a doofus like that sometimes.

I didn't get credit for the Two Cents survey yesterday, either. AND I haven't gotten it yet today. I haven't seen my OTX credits for yesterday or for two that I did last weekend. Will have to see if any of them show up tomorrow.

I just might go to a beach. Do you know I haven't seen the ocean since I was 11 years old? Unless you count some kind of a bay in Cape Cod that I went to when I was 14. But that was almost 20 years ago, too. And my kids have never seen the ocean. I'm just afraid that Shane would make me take him fishing.:scared: I don't do the whole worm on the hook thing.

Y'all are bad influences trying to get me to spend my tax refund on Disney!:lmao:
You crack me up girl! I love your ticker, :rotfl::rotfl:

Hey where ya buying a house at? You want to stay in the same town? huh huh, I need details, you know that. :confused3
Have you lost your mind??? The whole reason I haven't bought a house yet is because I want to get OUT of this godforsaken state. Probably the only thing that's keeping me here is that I do like my job. I wonder if they'll transfer me to Florida. I know they have an office in Jacksonville.
LMAO, I know what you are trying to say :rotfl::rotfl:

You can take the kids to Vegas, they have stuff for them there and you won't have to get arrested for letting Shane gamble, lol. Circus Circus has an entire floor of arcade and carnival type setting for the kids and I believe, if it is still there MGM has a small amusement park attached to it for kids. We went there years ago, of course we didn't have the kids with us and if you rent a car you can drive over to CA and take the road through Death Valley, the desert is awesome! Then at night if you take them up to the old section of Las Vegas to Fremont Street, every hour they have a light show which is really cool. San Antonio Texas is nice also, the alamo is not what I expected but the city of San Antonio is really nice, the river walk and all is nice. There are so many cool places to visit. I can't wait to find out whwere you decide to go
I would love to go to Vegas just to look around, but something tells me the kids would get bored just looking at lights all the time.:lmao: I would be highly amused, though.

Plus, I'm trying to stay off planes after the last "incident.":rotfl:
Aww that's a shame. You could use the SR for spending money and stuff, it would help a lot but if you want to totally fund a trip to Disney you better get every survey that comes down the pike girl! Good Luck ! I hope you can do it! :goodvibes
Those surveys are pissing me off! I get them and they don't give me credit for them! When did this start happening? I never had a problem with this before. I've had at least 4 this week that I didn't get credit for.
It was a Comfort Inn where they had awesome pillows. I don't know if they all do or just that one but they were really comfortable, nice real feather pillows. In fact they had a sign in their saying what the prices were for one of their pillows, for their towels, etc. as they were so nice, and so were the towels and that was their way of saying, if you take one, you are buying it, lol.
I like most of the Comfort Inns I've stayed in. Some of them are older and kind of shabby. But the one good thing about them is their waffle makers. They have awesome breakfasts.
Well one day I may make it out there again but I don't see myself driving all the way across the country again by myself, 3000 miles was a lot to do alone!
I'll come with ya!

WELL!!!!!:snooty: I see NONE of my post made it through yesterday!!! All TWO of them anyway!!!!

We were having some internet probs with the storms and all and then i went to a Ladies Retreat about 45 min away just for the evening. While I was there a Tornado touched down 30 min S of us and then about 25 min I think that is considered SW of us and another one (or same one???) about an hour N of us!!!! So lots of Wind dam but thank God it Missed us. One place it hit we had just driven through about 40 min before in CLEAR weather. Had no idea there was even a chance of a Tornado!!

It worked!!!:yay:

Anyway I had replied to you TAT!!!!

WHAT'S in TEXAS????????????????????????? *AHEM*
HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes1

I can't believe you'd have to ask!! It's not what either it's WHO!!!

ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:rotfl:

And then there's this little place called San Antonio that you did mention. Did you know you can get tickets for 1 day for $36 a piece??? i'll have to find the website for it but yes our youth group just went and that's what they did. Also if you are going more than one day but don't want to buy an annual pass cause you don't live near there so you don't need to spend the $70something a piece well there is a fun card now that is a one day $54 and you can use it as much as you like ALL year. It doesn't give you any parking or shopping discounts but hey Well worth it for a 2 or 3 or or 5;) day trip. And the Alamo and the Riverwalk is all there. And there are lots of fun things to do all within walking distance of the Alamo and the Mall. Ripleys believe it or not. Davy Crocket ride and adventure etc...

And as far as a Beach GALVESTON is a great one and Moody Gardens is right there. KEMAH boardwalk is back up and running. And I'm 2 hours from Galveston and could be persuaded to come.............:rotfl:

HMPPHH!!!:snooty: WHAT'S in Texas MY FOOT!!!!!!:snooty:

;):rotfl:

Chele did you post that pic of your DH on here or on your thread???

Well DUH I'll go look on your thread and see if I can find it!!!!!!!!!
