Trent is doing a ton Better. Thanks for asking

HE went to school today and did pretty well. He only got a bit winded during the last ten mins of school as they were at recess

They just had him go sit in Nurse office for last 5 mins until bell rang, so he could calm down

so glad Trent was feeling better today. Hope he continues to get better and that spring isn't too rough on him.

Some Medical Updates:

From Chele: WELL THE SPINAL TAP IS DONE. AND NOW WE ARE OFF TO THE OPHTHALMOLOGIST TO CHECK HER OUT.SHE SAYS IT HURT REAL BAD. I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT GOES



From LeeLee: TYLER 4 SURE HAS A BACTERIA INFECTION ALSO TOOK 8 BIOPSIES OF ABNORMALITIES THEY FOUND. WE FIND OUT THOSE RESULTS OUT MONDAY.

Marshay, poor DD and poor you. She's a big girl and she will adjust well. Kacy and Kody weren't thrilled when Loren came but they adjusted.

Kody is pretty miserable and we did the Kaiser tour today. First her DR attempted to do the spinal tap and I say attempted because I think it was basically a failure. The DR said she was wonderful. Then we had to go over to Vacaville for her to see the opthamologist and have her dialate Kody's eyes and check them closely. She saw what may or may not have been swelling so the neurologist wants Kody to have another spinal tap. This nest one will be done by an actual neurologist and not a pediatric one. Thank goodness because she didn't like the pediatric one at all. He's was really a jerk so I understand. Her DR said that this will be resolved this cannot wait any longer so she is being extremely proactive.

From your lips to God's ears. She is in a lot of pain right now and I can't help but feel that it was for nothing. I just wish that she would have been willing to let another DR do the spinal tap to begin with. I think a neurologist will do a better job.

thanks for the update!! I actually just skimmed through it all to get my morning laugh!

Yesterday DD3 had her meltdown...ended by saying, Mommy, I liked it better when it was just you and me. Totally broke my heart.

I do understand why she said that...it's hard for her since we haven't been spending our Mommy time together. So I'm trying to make sure we do some special time, too.

Then last night she told me, Mommy, I do love baby. And that made me cry all over again -- but for better reasons!

AWWWWW Marshay!!! I so remember Tyler doing that to Braeton!! I still have to make a cautious effort to have private time with Tyler because I'm always doing things with Braeton.

I started crying when you texted she had to have another one. We just are all going to have to pray and believe that you'll find the answer SOON!!! Do they know when they are doing the nest S T? You might have said and I just didn't see. I am so tired my eyes are are shutting down on me!!

Flight was good - panicked a little on the first - then had many drinks on the layover Good thing I did because I was seated next to "Bill and Ted" on the next flight.

Trip was fantastic. I ate the best pizza I have ever eaten. Yum! I don't think I'll ever be able to order Pizza Hut again.

And I'm glad to hear the whole trip in general was enjoyable. I'm sure the break away from the kiddos was nice. Where did you get the pizza from? I order from Mellow Mushroom and they have ruined me from ordering pizza from any other chain.

I have heard of Mellow Mushroom but never tried it. It is on my must do list. Everyone says it is great. We had Pizzeria Uno at the original location. It is sooooo good. We also went to the Chicago Pizzeria and Oven Grinder company. I am drooling on my keyboard. DH has a friend who is a chef and they took us to a place called Giaco. I ate till I couldn't eat anymore. The two chefs knew each other so they kept sending "sampler" plates to the table. We finally had to beg them to stop. It was so good. Unfortunately, I probably put on 10 pounds in one weekend

Hi Sharky! How's Trent? Is his asthma better? Mine has been worse than it has since I quit smoking years ago.

All the more reason to start again.

We don't know who she looks like...the nurse at the hospital said she looked like me, but I don't see it.

I like the Elie nickname but DH doesn't...he likes Liz or Lizzie...we may end up calling her different names...but I wonder if that would be too confusing...

Every time I hear the name Lizzie, it reminds me of Lizzie (or Lizzy?) Borden. You know the killer?

I did that too. I think it was the postpartum depression for me. I loved all my kids, but I was sad that I wouldn't get alone time with just one anymore. We adjusted, obviously.

I'm telling ya, ask them about doing it under fleuroscopy. Its like an xray. There's no way they can mess it up.

Hopefully they'll let her heal for a couple of days before scheduling another one? They really don't all hurt like that. But I know exactly what you're talking about, with the back pain and the leg pain. It is so intense. The only way I can describe it when they're doing it is what I imagine it would feel like to be struck by lightning. It is pain and an awful burning sensation all in one. Just terrible. It should be mostly gone by tomorrow, except for maybe in her butt cheek.

Finally, a doctor that understands that it can't wait. Not only can she lose her sight, but the poor girl is having skull crushing pain in the mean time. People just don't understand that when we say we have a "headache," it isn't a normal headache like regular people get. We literally want someone to kill us.

I loved those Bill and Ted movies!! But I'm not the most grown up person in the world.

I've always wanted to try the pizza in Chicago. I've seen some of their pizzerias on specials on the Travel Channel and some of it looks so good.

We went out for pizza here last night (I'm on a business trip). It was like cardboard with sauce. We won't make the mistake of ever going there again. I only could stomach one piece.
