Good Morning All!

Nikki, we are just like you in the sense that we just don't understand the Twilight thing. We read the first book, or some of us did and it was like a no big thing.

So, I was in Bath and Body works yesterday. They have the Wallflowers and the refills on sale for $6 if anybody uses them. That's a good deal, because they're normally arond $12. Anyway, they're coming out with this new scent, Butterfly Flowers, or some crap like that. DO NOT buy it! It smells like turds. Luckily, I didn't spray the tester on myself, or I would have smelled like turds, too. Just sniffed it. I'm not sure if their scent testing people have lost their sense of smell or what. It is the grossest thing they have ever come out with.

Like I said, I got my kids new shirts for the upcoming Disturbed concert. I woud take pictures of the new purchases and post them here, ut they wore them to school this morning. They just couldn't wait. I haven't even washed them yet. Yuck. I also bought some comb in blue and red color for their hair, fake tattoos, and a fake tattoo sleeve for Kyleigh. I didn't realize that a size small was so small. She can barely get her big old arm into the thing. I have to start realizing that my children are actually adult size.

Does anybody have any plans for this weekend? Kelly, I know you said you were thinking about Steamtown? Have you made the final decision on that one? I haven't made any plans. Just hae to take the kids to their ice skating lessons. My husband has his party for the end of his season of the dart league he's in. Which means an entire day of drinking and partying. I can go to that if I want. I really don't want.

Any word on Marshay yet? I'm starting to worry.

Lee Lee, how's the kids? How's Tyler doing with the whole homeschooling thing? Better question...how are YOU doing with it? I don't know if I could ever homeschool my kids. Seems like an awful lot of responsibility. And, well, you know I'm just not that responsible. Feed them, clean them, house them, play with them, take them places, nurse them if they're sick or hurt, etc. I can't imagine trying to educate them on top of it all.

MOMMOM! You need to tell that big lug of a husband you have to go to your favorite store, WALMART, and buy you one of those cheap laptops they have there. Seriously!! I don't think you're playing those CD rom games that require good graphics, so you could pick up one of those cheap laptops they sell in that crappy store. My friend Rich got one there, and it is actually pretty decent. We can watch DVDs on it when we're out of town. We need some source of entertainment. It just makes me mad that you get kicked out of chat and can't come back because of your stupid computer. You need a new one fast!!

BETSY!! You're another one. Tell that husband of yours to get you your own cheap computer! Or go to bed early and let you have the computer. We miss you!

Carla - I know where you are too. Hiding out again. Will you be doing a Pre trip report and a trip report? You know we like to be in on the planning of your trips.

Cheri - Not sure what's going on with you lately, other than the little bit you told me the other night and what I've heard from Carla. We really do miss you around here. You added a lot of entertainment to this place.

UJ - Where are you now, MISTER?? I don't want any computer excuses this time. You already used that one. You're probably hanging out in your hot tub and forgot all about your girls here. You big meanie!

Chele and daughters - You know I'm worried sick about Kody. Hate to keep mentioning it, but I know it might make it easier for you to talk to somebody who has been through it. Hopefully when they do the spinal tap, the numbers will be low and it will be easily controlled with the Diamox. And hopefully that Diamox (if that's the one they give, it usually is) doesn't give you any bad side effects, Kody. I used to call it my stupid pill, because it literally made me a dumb (***) when I took it. I would be in the middle of doing something and couldn't remember what I was doing. I can't imagine going to school and being on that drug. Yikes. And hi to Kacy, too. Almost time to get that permit.

steph - Congratulations on your job. How are you going to feel going to work so soon after getting your gall bladder out? Are you feeling all better? Is Josh looking for a job? What will you do with the baby once he gets one? You can tell me to butt out and mind my own business at any time. Oh, and I also haven't said congratualtions on your move yet. You must be excited to finally get your own place. Be sure to post pictures of the new digs when you move. Did you say April 1st is when you're moving? Are you all packed? You know, Love is our resident packing expert. She's got all the info on how to efficiently get all your stuff from one place to another. AND...I will TRY to get close when I go see Disturbed next month. I'll try to get some good pics of Mr. Draiman for you and post them here to annoy Sharky and all the others.

I haven't read the books. I have no time for reading. I think the last book I read was in 2003. Other than like Hop on Pop and stuff. Isn't that terrible?

Okay, beds are stripped. My bedding is in the washer. I have a pretty big washer, so I'm doing the comforters and everything.

I have a qyustion and was wondering if there's anyonge here who can help me with it. I just bought new pillows for everyone. I want to wash these pillows. Apparently, I am not good at doing laundry, becuase every time I wash pillows and throw them in the dryer, they come out in a different shape than they were when they went into the washer. And they're all lumpy.

Is tbhere any way to keep pillows form losing their shape and getting lumpy when you wash them? Or do you just have to deal with the new shape and lumps?

I don't get the hype with that. I was in Hot Topic yesterday buying the kids their shirts for the Disturbed concert, and they had that Twilight crap everywhere. I'm just not sure what all the fuss is about.

thanks! yeah my gall bladder thing is all good.. just the incision is sore.. but it will get better.. the paper work to start working takes like a week.. its crazy.. Josh isnt looking righ now hes gunna stay home with Jason for the moment but when he does get one his grandma said she will watch jason.. im super jazzed to move! we arent packed at all yet.. there is still stuff than needs to be done to the place so we can move in.. yeah get good pictures of my husband! you should text them to me!

Nikki ~ Yes I will be doing a TR....I just won't start it until a couple of months before our trip. I'm not doing one for our Orlando trip in May because we're not going to WDW.

I have no clue on the pillow thing. I've never washed our pillows so I don't think I can help you there. Sorry!

Oh yeah and thanks for the heads up on the Bath & Body Works stuff. I just got some from there last month and I love it. It's the moonlit Summer or something like that. I can't remember. It's something about night.

Looks like I missed all the fun again. I was having to take care of Kody this morning. Her head was in the very severe area. The stupid DR she saw yesterday had her stop taking the Tylenol with Codeine that she thought didn't work. Well after laying in bed lastnight in massive pain unable to sleep by this morning she was in absolute melt down. I played DR Mom and handed her the bottle of pills and told her to take one. It took about an hour and she was finally able to sleep. Nikki expect that text message.

Ahh, okay. I love your trip reports. yyours was one of the first ones I joined in on ages ago. so much fun.

Well, I washed one of the pillows. I have to because Shane and I are the allergy freaks. We'll have to see how it turns out because it is in the dryer now.

They even have a big ad on the B&Bw website. That new fragrance is some serioius nasty.

You know what? These doctors you're going to are making me mad. Seems like since this is such a rare disease, these people know nothing. Do they do no research or what?

I'm just going to put this out there for you. They do spinal taps in the ER. I think you need to take her in there to get her one NOW. Before it starts affecting her vision. This is what i was thinking the whole time, which is why I was asking about the eye doctor at first. If that cerebrospinal fluid builds up enough, it can put so much pressure on the optic nerves that they start to swell andd finally hemorrhage. I'm not lying when I say I was legally blind for awhile. I wasn't allowed to drive for 4 months. I was lucky that I got my vision back when I had my surgeries. Some people don't.

Those headaches hurt so much that it feels like you're laying on a rock when your head is on a pillow. The only thing that is going to help is some strong drugs. Not tylenol with codeine. She needs some IV meds.

Please take her to the ER and get her seen by a NEUROSURGEON instead of a neurologist. They don't know much better, but they might get something done quicker.

I just wanted to add, Michele, that I am not trying to scare you or Kody. I dealt with those same headaches for 8 years before anybody did anything about them. And you know what I had to go through after that. We donb't want to let Kody get to that point. You just need to stress to those doctors that something needs to be done now.

Awww you're so sweet! I'm really glad I did that first one. It was really fun to do. I just couldn't bring myself to do a TR after my trip last year since it was so hellish. I did not want to relive most of it. But I know this year's trip will be GREAT so I'm all excited again like I was in 2007 which should make for some good reading hopefully. I just don't want to do a long drawn out PTR like I did in 2007. I'm not sure I would know what to talk about for the next 8 months

Hmmm, well let me know how it turns out. I'm interested now.

Geez....hopefully they do away with it soon. I hate a lot of their fragrences now. I smelled all of them when I was in the store last month and I hated all of them but two.
