I am probably gonna sound like a snob but southern California is too much like a desert to me. I prefer trees. I may be strange. I know and it means no yard either because you can't water very much, reduced water shower heads. All of that fun stuff.

I get that! I prefer trees and greenery too! All I really remember about the area that DL is in is that it's right smack dab in the middle of a business district, right? It's not like WDW where it's isolated. And I remember palm trees... which are always an exciting novelty for mid-westerners!

Wow I have a palm tree in my yard. I guess a bird "dropped" a seed in our yard and I decided to keep it because it is actually kind of nice. If we used a motorhome I might considering camping in that area. The only places "close" enough to camp in a tent are actually quite a few miles away.

I got all set up on facebook.
I went to the store to get milk.
I went to another store to get milk.
I came home and started making tomato soup on the stove.
Then I broke down an empty box of cap'n crunch and cut my finger.
Then I went upstairs to get a band-aid.
I decided to change into my sweats too.
I came back down to the kitchen only to discover that my soup boiled over! What a mess!

too funny! In our HOA, we are allowed to keep up Xmas decorations until Jan 31st, but I don't see anymore outside. Kind of depressing actually.

I went to my friend's house and "did Disney" planning for her. They are going for a week in late Feb to Animal Kingdom Lodge. I'm so thrilled for them.

They had no clue what they are getting into...I was able to share some of my thoughts with her and it'll be interesting to see how it all fares out.

I love Disney so much that I want others to share my love as well ... but I know that's not always possible...there are actually some folks out there that {GASP} don't want to go or only want to go one time in their entire lives!!

I got my teeth cleaned a week before Christmas and the hygienist mentioned she was going to be spending the holiday in WDW. I was so excited for her! I asked her where they were going to spend Christmas day and she said they hadn't decided. I said, well where are you eating Christmas dinner? She said they didn't know because she didn't know what was there!



I nearly had a meltdown for her!

I said you need to go to wdwinfo.com as soon as you get home honey. You have much to learn.

I hate to admit it but I think I enjoy the planning of the trip more than the trip in some ways. I always plan special things that never go quite as I hope that they will. In the planning process part everyone is happy, I never seem to plan for when they aren't happy.

Let me tell you my facebook story

My mom found an old friend of her on facebook. I was friends in preschool with her daughter.

So I sent a friend request to my old preschool friend and she accepted.

Then, on her list of friends, is another girl I went to preschool with.

So, I sent a request to her and she accepted

I found out we live in same town.

Then, she said she was looking to move as they were only renting and did not like their house.

Then, I asked where. She said between her and her fiance job. SHe said her fiance worked in same town that me and my husband work

I said how funny. Then goes on say, her fiance works in the jail

So, we find out that her fiance and my husband work at the jail together

get this, they are on the same shift and friends



How crazy is that !!!!

So I have been debating our options. We could go to Disneyland, take day trips into San Francisco, get season passes to our local Six Flags, camp on the coast instead. There are options. There will be water rationing.

I vote cross country trip to visit Disgirls.
