I mean eight ... see she is making me loco already :sad2:

And I have around six month until Loren turns 13. He has girls that call him and send him emails. And now that he has a cell phone he gets constant text messages from them. That's the one that scares me. The girls come to me and to a certain extent still listen to my advice. But boy I don't know about the girls that are calling my house after 11 pm to talk to Loren.:scared1:

Can I take a vacation to OB's house?

Sure. Come on down. We feed our ex's to the gators

The Tomato is ketchup! :rotfl2: I love it! And I agree. I think we have a concensus.

Tat is here and I have to go. :sad1: Mr. Ketchup himself needs the computer. Talk with you all again soon....... I've missed ya.

We should make us some stewed Tomatoes. Or diced. Or crushed. Smashed, squashed, whatever.

Dammit Tomato.

I'm going to bed too. Gotta go out of town tomorrow. See ya.

Nite OB, Chele, and whoever else is still here.

Looks like I missed everyone today.

Well, DD and I tried out the Magic Bullet -- we chopped veggies to put in a pasta salad; made Apple-Mango Fruit Smoothies and had a Chocolate-Mint Milkshake.

All were yummy and the MB seems to work fine...it's small though which is both a plus and a minus. Had to make individual drinks but it doesn't take up much room either.

Doesn't he? Yeah when last I heard they were home and his Grandpa was gonna watch him so that she could take a nap. What a nice Grandpa.:goodvibes

Aww, that is nice

How was Trent today? Or did he go back yet?

Hey OB

He was happy to go back. See his friends and run around. HE had a good day:)
How did your kids do?

Ahhhh I missed it ! :sad2:

Yay me! :cool1: :cheer2:

not sure why I quoted this now :rotfl:

oh wait, I Remember

Congrats on 2500 :cool1:

Anybody missed me? :confused3

Of course

Command performance? That sounds interesting :lmao:

Bye chele :thumbsup2

that is what I was thinking

Let's see... we had a harrowing 15 hour drive up in freezing rain on highways that would've been better navigated with ice skates... accidents everywhere... then it turned to all snow when we had about an hour left. There was at least a foot on the ground when we got there and it continued to snow for the next 2 days. Then the day after Christmas it turned to ice again and we were stuck at my sister's house in the boonies because her road was impassable. Then the next day it was 55 degrees and all the snow and ice melted! It was weird. But that's Michigan for you... if you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes and it will change. :sad2:

All that said... we did have a great time! We hadn't been "home" in 18 months so it was really good to see everyone. OH and the best part was that my mom drove up and surprised us! Everyone knew she was coming but us ~ that was pretty cool. As soon as I download my pics I'll post one of me and Uncle John.

Yikes, drive sounds scary

But visit sounds great. How cool your mom suprised you

will be waiting for those picspopcorn::

Glad you are enjoying your MB:woohoo:

Hey all.. just on for a minute.. im gunna sleep after this..

Jason and Josh are both asleep now.. yeah mom and dad and EVERYONE else was in the labor and delivery room for the most part.. it was ok tho because for one I was drugged up and like barely noticed (i guess at one time there was like 11 of them in there :confused3 ) but they were all just hangin out while I was dialating and junk and everytime they would come in to check me everyone but Josh would leave the room and Josh would go out and get them when the nurse was done and stuff.. so that was fine.. then when the time came everyone but Josh left again.. so it wasnt as big of a problem for me because there were other people for mom to talk to so she pretty much stayed out of my hair..

Jason has his first appt tomorrow.. they are doing a follow up because he may have jaundice.. one time they tested he was high enough for the light therepy but they wanted to wait and test again in the morning and he was just under the testing limits.. so we take him to get tested again tomorrow.. doc says its border line jaundice.. hes got a lump on his head too that DR says is hematoma and will go away in a few weeks..

found out I am not able to breast feed.. he latches on fine and stays on long enough but hes not getting enough nutrients and his blood sugar was super low so we have to bottle feed him.. oh well.. i tried.. now it just means I can leagally have my big kid drink sooner! :lmao: just kidding.. but a nice caramel frappuchino with no guilt will be good! :goodvibes maybe thats what i'll have tomorrow.. and a cup of coffee in the morning.... and a pepsi with every meal... :cloud9: :lmao:

im gunna give Jason his tylonol for his snip snip under the diaper (if you know what I mean) and take my big kid tylonol for my stitches from his big head (torn not cut in case anyone wanted the goorey dets..) and go to sleep!

talk to you all later! good night!

Morning All :upsidedow

Love - Welcome Back :goodvibes Sounds like and interesting trip up North :scared: Glad the holiday was nice for you other than the long trip!

Hi Steph :wave2: Glad everything went well! StinkerBelle had a hematoma on her head and it turned into pretty severe jaundice so I'm glad they are checking Jason...better to be safe :thumbsup2 Breastfeeding is definitely a challenge...I can atest to that! Hope all goes well with the appointment today. I had stitches too and was a little uncomfy for about 2 weeks and then all went back to normal (trying not to get too in detail ;)). Keep us posted on the appointment. Congrats again :goodvibes

Hi everyone! Not a whole lot going on here. We might have to cancel our trip :sad1: Lot's of things going on at DH's office. He has not made the final decision but will have to by today so that we can take care of our DVC points without any penalty. If we do cancel, I'm ok with it and know there are other trips in our future.

Hope you all are having a good Tuesday!

Not everyone! Some of us remember what it is like to be trapped in a hospital room with a kabillion people at once and not being to breath. I wasn't able to breastfeed either but I still was able to bond just fine with my kids. :goodvibes

The worst part of the stitches is the itchy healing feeling! Oh gosh I remember that awkward feeling like it was yesterday.:goodvibes

Steph -- just to offer a different viewpoint, breastfeeding and bottle feeding do not have to be mutally exclusive. It takes 4-7 days anyway for your milk to truly come in -- the first days are just the collustrum and many moms are told to use formula in the first days just b/c the "real" milk hasn't come in yet.

Sooooo if you want to give it a try, yes it will take extra time to do both, but you can. The benefits of breastmilk EXCEED any formula out there since Jason will be getting more and better nutrients from you (and also breastfeeding helps you lose the baby weight!:thumbsup2 ).

You breastfeed first and then give formula afterwards. In a few days/weeks you may find that breastfeeding is enough...or you may need to continue longer.

Obviously, you alone need to make that choice but please note that it is not an all or nothing...you can do both. (And it **@###* me off that someone told you to only to bottle...I'm sorry they said that to you...)

EDIT: This isn't meant to say formula is bad. We actually used formula the first day and on and off for DD's first 6 months, but always kept up with the breastfeeding too. I figure she actually got the best of both worlds that way!
