Oh I'm sorry, was my post not dripping with enough sarcasm? :rotfl: You know I love y'all and everything but there is no way I am reading all these pages!

It was a big ol whirlwind! Good though. We had a nice trip home to the ARCTIC. And you? Thanks for the christmas card!!! I didn't send any out this year.... toooooo busy and the whole thing just crept up on me!

I had the best intentions but I never sent Christmas card this year either. It was great seeing you but I have a command performance right now. See you later. Don't stay away so long this time.

Um, that sounds kinda dirty. Is the red chair involved? :lmao:

I'll try not to stay away so long... but with one computer for 5 people it's a wonder I ever get on the darn thing! Good to see you too Chele! Tell Steph congrats on the baby. :goodvibes

Let's see... we had a harrowing 15 hour drive up in freezing rain on highways that would've been better navigated with ice skates... accidents everywhere... then it turned to all snow when we had about an hour left. There was at least a foot on the ground when we got there and it continued to snow for the next 2 days. Then the day after Christmas it turned to ice again and we were stuck at my sister's house in the boonies because her road was impassable. Then the next day it was 55 degrees and all the snow and ice melted! It was weird. But that's Michigan for you... if you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes and it will change. :sad2:

All that said... we did have a great time! We hadn't been "home" in 18 months so it was really good to see everyone. OH and the best part was that my mom drove up and surprised us! Everyone knew she was coming but us ~ that was pretty cool. As soon as I download my pics I'll post one of me and Uncle John.

I have returned. Love you need to go back and see the pictures of Steph's baby Jason.

The red chair? Umm it is only 6 here in California and there is way too much traffic in this house for that! And Scotty is at work and well you see where this is going.

I forgot about that --- you perv! :lmao:

You know it baby!

Man that is harsh. I don't think I could drive in ice and snow. I would be a complete basket case. I would be one of those people you find pulled over on side of the road, running the heater and calling 911. :rolleyes1

Great that your mom surprised you. Would be great to see some pics! You know we all love :lovestruc pics!

I always forget about that time difference!

I saw the pics... he's a cutie... and a real whopper! (My kids were teeny preemies so anything over 6 1/2 pounds looks enormous to me!) I'll bet Steph is really proud. :goodvibes

Yeah you were back pretty quick. Should have known better ;)

And tired.:goodvibes

I would so trade for baby tired instead of teenage tired.:rotfl:

Tell me about it..... pre-teenage tired is killing me! A year to go before we hit 13 and I'm already thinking someone isn't going to make it ~ anyone want to call it? Who will not survive... Abby, me or The Tomato? :rotfl2:

I am guessing Tomato because of those hormones and from experoence of having two teenage girls. Poor Scotty I know that many times he just wants to plug his ears and hum so he can pretend not to hear.

I get tired of the in-fighting for the mirror and the makeup. Just to name a few.

I knew you would. And you even used my favorite smiley.
Good Morning!

Glad the baby had arrived and all are well :goodvibes

Tat -I hope all is ok

Marshay - I think that border is really cute! You can definitely find some reasonable accessories to add!!! Had I known how much my DD would love animals, I would have done something like that too!

Sharky - How ya doing girlie? Tomorrow nite is our BIG tv nite :cool1:

QM - Glad you made it back safe :goodvibes Miss Ya!

Chele - Thanks for updating with the baby news! I bet everyone in the fam is excited for the new addition!

OB - I know what you mean, I sometimes don't realize how long I have stayed in the house and then need to make an escape.

I got most of my decorations down yesterday, how sad :sad2: DH has been working away on my laptop...we need another one :rolleyes1
Hi Betsy. Long story.
Hey stranger, I've missed you. How are you? What have you been up to? How was your Christmas and New Year's?
It was okay. I had 4 drinks on NYE if that tells you anything.
OMG Girl, you must have been peeking in on my life lately! Never a truer word has been spoken! I'll tell you my story when I get time. Can you say stranded at the airport with your ride saying they wont' come get you? NOt to mention a lot of other stuff. Hope you are feeling happier today. I'm not.
Yeah, there's a special place in hell for those jerks. Yours can sit next to mine.
Anybody missed me? :confused3
Always.

Can I take a vacation to OB's house?

That was my first thought, too!

Gotta love it up north. We're getting that crap tomorrow.

So where's the picture?

Well there is always plastic.

I call the Tomato.

Ahhh... I remember those days. My sister and I were only a year apart. The teenage years were a delight for my mother and father. :rotfl:

My daughter favorite response for anything I ask her is "OHHHKKKAAAAYYY!" Accompanied by serious eye rolling. It's all I can do to keep myself from smacking her in the back of the head. :headache:
