Me too. And I have found that there are some lotions if I put it on that help the psoriasis. The thing that cracks me up is they give hydrcortizone for it. Oh please how is that gonna help.

I ended up sending her back to bed this morning and not to school. She has a tummy bug going with it right now.

yeah, I tend to use Eucerin lotion a lot. That and Blue Star ointment. It's hard to use that stuff where I have the psoriasis though. It's on the back of my scalp so if I put that stuff on there it makes my hair all greasy. I hate it.

Awww, on top of everything else she's sick? Now that's just the pits!

Oh man, on the nose sounds painful. I had it in my ears when I was growing up but that blue star ointment really helped clear that up. You just have to be religious with putting that stuff on wherever it's dry. What shampoo do you use? I've been using head and shoulders but it doesn't help all that much. I used that tar shampoo from neutrogena but I hate the way it smells and I read that it will strip the color from your hair and make you go grey faster. I don't need help in that department

Alrighty thanks! Does it work good? Target is so sensitive to people with dry skin. I was thrilled when I found stuff for Chris' exthma at Target.

Oh yeah, HE is out there!! Most people can't agree to disagree. They just have to make everyone think the way they do. I can't stand it. Well, thanks but I still didn't sleep good last night. I managed to fall asleep around 11:00 (even though I went to bed at 9:00) and then Chris woke me up when he came to bed. and then once I finally fell back asleep I kept having weird dreams that woke me up. My bed is getting more and more uncomfortable by the night. I really want one of those sleep number beds but they're just so darned expensive!!



I hate OTX too. I couldn't even get a daily yesterday so I gave up. I was too tired to care. Hopefully we can both get some easy surveys today.

The only way I could have done anything is if I cancelled the whole order and then replaced it. Which I did NOT want to do since I already paid through paypal. And since paypal takes the $ out of your account before the item ships I did not want to go through all that crap. So I'm just getting the pink one. It shipped yesterday and the estimated deliver date is on Friday. I can't wait to get it!!

Morning All

I feel like I haven't been around in days Sorry about that! Today is StinkerBelle's 3rd bday We are heading to tumble class then to the mall to make a zebra at Build a Bear. I attempted being creative and made her pancakes this morning in the shape of a 3, E and Mickey Mouse. She thought they were fun so that was a nice way to start the day.

I haven't gone back to read if I missed anything so if anyone wants to fill me in, that would be great

Great job with the 3 and the Mickey pancakes. I made a mickey shaped fried egg for Bryan, lol.

Sharky is trying to save $ to go on a possible vacation to WDW in December. Not sure if you were around for that or not. She's also been getting out quite a bit lately and enjoying the nice spring weather.

OB just got back from a trip to Chicago to see her DH and is trying to get back in the swing of things here. She said it was a great trip though.

Good morning Chele! How's your day going? I'm still really tired. Was another night of tossing and turning. Maybe I need some of QM's Ambien

Seriously Michele, if you toss and turn you should ask your Dr. for ambien, it's not addictive and it really makes you sleep, you need the Ambien CR though as that has the time release and once you fall asleep it continues to release the meds so you stay asleep. It feels so good to get a full 8 hours sleep, believe me! Just don't hang out chatting once you take it, lol, like me!

I am okay I guess. The main problem I have with Ambien and that sort of thing is I always have a "hang over" type of feeling.

If you allow yourself a full 7 & 1/2 to 8 hours to sleep the ambien off you feel great, wide awake and no hangover type feeling. I've had things do that to me but not ambien!

Really? I've heard lots of negative affects from it. Chris tried it once and ended up having thoughts of suicide and he had nightmares from it. It was really bad. After he talked to his Dr the Dr then told him that was one of the possible side effects. Nice to tell him afterwords.

That was wrong to tell him afterwards. Wow that is scary, thank God I don't have any of those effects. Glad Chris stopped them right away though.

That's a good reason to not take it. Have you ever listened to those commercials on TV for the different prescriptions? I often wonder if the benefits out weigh the side effects.

Wow luckily I have never had those side affects at all. I sleep hard and sound all night. I do know of the possible side effects of sleep walking, sleep talking and sleep driving, lol, but never have had any of them. Of course if you are susceptible to any of that I would skip it! Maybe Lunesta, that's another one and it is supposed to be good, check into possible side effects first though.

Okay, it is Dermarest for Psoriasis. Medicated shampoo plus conditioner. It does work.
