:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Thanks for the updates Kelly!

Hi!!! Remember me:):) School will be over this week and all the thousands (ok maybe not thousands) of appointments I have had to attend.........

Will be jumping in towards the middle of the week. Looking forward to talking to everyone.......

Have a Magical Disney Day

Hey Chrismiss, good to see you back, maybe with it being summer you'll be here more often! Welcome back! ;)

I just measured her and she is 26.5"!!! That is tremendously long for a 3 month old -- she grew 5.5" in 3 months. Wow!!

She can roll over on her side (not her stomach yet) and she can do a 360 degree turn on her back. We have a video monitor and it's funny to watch her wiggle her way around the crib.

Oh, and she's found her hands and is starting to hold things that you place on top of her and she pulls up her top over her head.

Aww that's great Marshay, she's really moving right along!

Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Hello friends. Sorry I've been AWOL for the last week. Last weekend with Chris having his surgery was busy. All went well and he's doing good now. He has a new schedule now so we've been trying to get used to it. He's actually working today. It's been a couple of years since he's had to work a weekend so it's not fun but you gotta do what you gotta do. I also had my Mom's monthly quilting class to help her out with on Tuesday night. 10 women showed up. It was nuts but fun!
Now, Lexie (my smallest dog) is now not feeling good. She has a sore on her tail that is really bothering her. We're trying to take care of her and make her feel better. I think she's improved a little since yesterday. She's at least able to relax and sleep a little but when she's awake she's whining and freaking out. So I'm hoping this doesn't last long. She's had this a few times before. It usually happens in the summer time so hopefully this will be the only one she has this summer.

Anyways, that's about it for me right now. How are you all doing? I haven't gone back to catch up yet. I probably have 3389830 pages to catch up on so can someone give me the cliff's notes of what's going on? I'll go back and see what I can catch too.

Good Morning :sunny:

I just dealt with a lovely temper tantrum from StinkerBelle...just what I needed at 8am :rolleyes:The best part it was due to offering the wrong flavor of yogurt :headache:Looks like a lovely day is developing.

So, it looks like our next big Disney trip will not be until February. I'm ok with that other than I really wanted to go to either the Halloween or Christmas party this year. So...I'm going to try to talk DH into us going for a quick trip at the end of September for the party :rolleyes1We will see how that goes...fingers crossed! I have an AP that doesn't run out until October so I would not need park tix, just one for MNSSHP. Plus I got the 40% code in my e-mail last week! Hoping I can find some cheap airfare (I so wish I was in driving distance!).

I'll keep you all posted on my progress :upsidedow

Hope you all are having a good start to the morning!

sorry to hear about the temper tantrum. But glad to hear you have a trip planned. Bummer it's not exactly when you wanted though. I'll be pulling that you can talk your DH into going for a short trip in September :goodvibes

so I wanted to tell y'all about this awesome purchase we made last Friday.

We went to Bed, Bath, & Beyond to find a wedding gift for some friends. While I was picking out the wedding gift, DH was scouring the clearance shelves.

He picked up an 8" touchscreen digital photo frame missing its remote. Internal memory is 1 gb. Pandigital brand.
Regular price: $137.00.
Clearance price: $32.99

Well, if you use logic, a touchscreen photo frame can be operated using....*drumroll please*.....THE TOUCH SCREEN! So saving over $100 for a missing remote was worth it to us.

But....when we took it home, the remote was in the box!! :woohoo::woohoo:

Mike said the remote wasn't working, but it was there nonetheless. There's a watch-type battery in the frame which he said is there to operate the remote, but it seems the battery died so we need to get a new one. There you have it...a $137 digital frame for under 35 bucks! :banana: :cool1:

You go girl....GREAT find!!! :thumbsup2

Well, it just made more sense. By coming home this weekend he gets to see the boys soccer tournament and their season come to an end and he gets to see his aunt and uncle that he never gets to see because they are coming here for his cousin's graduation. Plus we've been apart 2 weeks and then he'll go back and we'll see him in 2 and half weeks when we go down there. Even steven. :thumbsup2

If he waited until next weekend he would miss everything above and also be gone for 3 weeks and then 1 and half weeks. Not so even steven. :rolleyes:

I just explained all this and he dug his heels in and said "I thought we already decided"... which totally irks me because why is it so hard to change your mind?!?! So I got QUIET on the phone and then let him go so I could put the boys to bed. :guilty:

THEN the next day he sent me an e-mail saying that the flight home for this weekend was twice as much as for the following weekend. He proceeded to say "I know how difficult this is.... " blah, blah, blah. And that made me really really mad. :mad: I wanted to send an e-mail back and totally rip him a new one. But I decided I shouldn't send him anything back while I was so upset. So I didn't respond.

I went out to lunch with my friend and complained about it instead! :laughing:

When I got home there was another e-mail from him that he had the company TA find him a cheaper flight out of Pensacola so he was going to go ahead and come home this weekend.

So what did I do? I guess I stated my position and then sat back and shut my mouth until he realized he agreed with me. :rotfl2:

Alrighty... going to watch Wipeout with the kids... they are yelling at me that I am missing it!!! I might come back later though! ttyl

wtg Love! You played your cards right and got what you wanted. Glad you are getting to spend time with him this weekend. Hope you guys are having a great time!! :goodvibes

I learned something new about my DH today (also explains his Mom's day fiasco). My friend who is stationed in Japan is visiting for 2 weeks and we are giving him a party. We looked at the calendar and saw we only have Jun 21 or 28 available.

I said, well, the 21st is Father's Day so we'll have to do it Jun 28th.

And DH says (and I quote), "Father's Day doesn't mean anything to me so we can do 21st"

Now I know it's an 'I'm not buying into the Hallmark hype thing' but still...

And now I'm wondering if I should even give him the Father's Day gift DD3 and I worked on over the last week (as seen in my TR)...definitely makes me glad I decided not to get him money for his camera lens...

I'd still give it to him. It shows him how much those special days mean to you even though they don't mean anything to him. Plus that gift is special even not as a Father's Day gift.

:rotfl:

okay, you asked for it.

~~~~~~~Dream sequence~~~~~~~~
So Mike and I were in a strange town and decided we were going to find a restaurant to eat dinner. We drove up to this place that looked really nice, entered, and were seated at the end of a LARGE long table. Then several others started sitting at our table, until it was full. Then the whole restaurant was full, all these long tables. We had infiltrated some sort of banquet.
The server brought out these little cups--well, sort of like what shrimp cocktail would be served in--but all filled with diced tomatoes. Mike and I looked at each other in disbelief (we both hate tomatoes), and then Mike took a bite so as not to be rude. That's when we both looked around and realized everyone was spooning out the tomatoes onto the table and crushing them with their spoons. So we started doing the same. (Heck, we don't like tomatoes anyway, so we were happy to do it)
We eventually realized we were at some sort of cult meeting. Then somehow the story fastforwarded itself. (Or else I'm having a dream memory relapse--but I'm almost positive it just jumped)
All of a sudden, we were in an amusement park. Mike and I wanted to go ride some sort of dark ride, and we got a bunch of looks from several of the "members" like we were total sinners for wanting to ride it. Then this other girl and guy ran past us to get on. But no one scoffed at them for it like they did to us. Then someone said something that made us realize they didn't believe in married people doing stuff like that together. :rotfl: It made no sense!
Then, my alarm woke me up. Thank God!
~~~~End dream sequence~~~~

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I looked it up for you and here's what I found online. Who knows if it's true or not but interesting non-the-less

Cult

To dream that you are in a cult, suggests that you are in some destructive and/or manipulative relationship. You are being exploited. On a more positive note, you have the desire to strive for a better Self. It implies devotion and sense of community.

To see a cult in your dream, indicates that you are lacking any spiritual freedom.

To dream that you are a leader of a cult, signifies your authoritarian attitude. No one should question your motives or choices.

Amusement Park

To see or be in an amusement park in your dream, indicates that you need to set some time for leisure and more enjoyment in your life. Consider how everything in the park is an expression of some aspect of yourself. Alternatively, you may be too easily distracted lately.

To dream that the amusement park is empty or abandoned, suggests that you need to open yourself to more fun and adventure.

Hey! I just wanted to stop in and say a quick goodbye to everyone. We're leaving for Springfield tonight after Shane's baseball game. He was starting pitcher tonight and he didn't want to miss it. I'm guessing that puts us in Springfield somewhere around midnight.:scared1:

Tomorrow, Joe wants to leave for Florida around 10:00 a.m. I guess we'll be staying at a hotel somewhere along the way, possibly North or South Carolina?:confused3

And Sunday, we're doing Wonderworks in Orlando.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 I'll let you all know how it is.

I'm taking my laptop with me. Last week, I snagged a charger that I can plug into the cigarette lighter in the car so the laptop won't die on me after two hours. I'm just glad Joe likes to drive. And we're taking my car without air conditioning. It is so much better on gas than Joe's car and it has a kick *** stereo. You all know that stereo is more important to me than stupid a/c.

Hopefully, since we're taking the laptop I'll be able to check in a few times. I guess we'll have to see what the internet access at the hotel is like. If I am not able to, I'll just send Nosy, I mean Kelly, updates. I'm sure she'll let everyone know what's going on.:goodvibes

Tried to get into the doctor this week so I could get adjusted and get rid of this headache that's been plaguing me for about two months. No luck. I'm not going in until the 29th. I was really hoping to be pain free for this vacation, but I guess that isn't going to happen.:sad1:

Talk to you all soon.:grouphug:

Hope you guys have a BLAST!!!!

Trent graduated from PreK today. My baby is growing up :love:

They had refreshments in his classroom first. Trent was having a bit of a meltdown when Steve opened his milk wrong, but once that was corrected all was good :rotfl2:

The teacher called them up one by one and had them stand on bridge. She gave them a certificate, a nice story for parents and a paper that each kid had drawn on it and teacher typed what they said they wanted to be when they got older and why.

Trent said he wanted to be a Spaceman because he wanted to bring up all his legos to build spaceships :laughing:

After that we were led to the library which was way too small to hold parents and siblings and I could not see crap at first :headache:

They sang about 6 songs and did their pledge of allegiance, counted to twenty and did their alphabet to show what they had learned.

I was getting so annoyed, I Psst to my friend and asked her to snap a pic of Trent. She she did and then drug me over to her and had me crouch against a bookcase where another mom was...Had perfect view, but still ridiculous that it was so unorganized in there :sad2:

Anyway...Trent was not too thrilled with performing stuff as the standing for so long was getting to him ;)

Here are a few pics I snapped..the rest are on FB

Here is Trent getting his Pre-K Graduation Certificate with his teacher on left and the classroom aide on the right:
