I always have a trip planned

We actually are closing on a house next month located about 25 minutes from Disney. This will be a vacation home for us while our DD24 who works for Disney (and thank goodness she is safe from all the layoffs) will be living there.

I plan on being there for 5 to 6 weeks this summer. One of the perks of having a low paying Teacher Assistants position.

We were just there at the beginning of March. My two DDs gave me the BEST birthday gift. Concert ticket to see Billy Joel and Elton John in concert in Tampa

DH is going next month for the closing and I will wait until summer.

We are annual passholders and pre-house were going down between 3 and 4 times a year even if it was for only a weekend. I am relentless in finding cheap airfare.

How about you? And the rest of the group - are you able to get to WDW or Disneyland?

I'm Cheri, I'm 26 (well, 27 in June...GULP!) and married with no children yet. I live in Southeast Louisiana, not far from New Orleans. I work in the finance operations center of a large power company. I can't really say it's my dream job or anything, but I like it most of the time and it sure pays the bills. I don't feel I'm in danger of anything with this recession. DH works 2 jobs and is thinking about starting up his own company, so we'll see how that goes. I'd love to be a millionaire so we can buy into DVC and some AP's.

I don't have a Disney trip planned for this year, and for that I am sad. I am lucky to have gone the past 3 years in a row though. I also went to Hawaii for my honeymoon in 2006. I can't really complain.

I don't feel good and that doesn't help.

They say brave, but they mean weird.

Darn kid of mine made me sick. I really thought I was going to make it through this winter without getting sick.

I'm 34, have 2 DDs, 13 & 8, a DS who turned 1 last month and Baby Ella on the way. This will be our first trip to Disney with my DBF and parents and sister and brother in law... can't wait!!

Cold, what's up with that? Do you mind warming it up by the time we get back in May? I spent a good part of the day at the pool getting some sun and leisurely floating around the pool.

DH found a puppy last week, and we are still trying to locate it's owners.

I know they must be going crazy missing him!! He's a real cutie.

Here's a couple pics of him:

After a little research, we think he's an English Foxhound. He didn't have a collar/tags but we are very certain he belongs to someone.

Do y'all agree on the breed?

I have heard the onsite hotels out there are fabulous. I just finished listening to the Disneyland podcasts. If you can get a deal, go for it!

Yeah that is the only thing with Homeschooling Tyler now. There is no AHHHH Just me and my coffee time anymore. But he's old enough that once I get him started on his work he's fine for a while and I do my thing. And DH is actually a little more willing to keep the kiddos while I run to the store or the other night i went to another Ladies retreat. So in a way I'm getting a little more me time. Before I worked at the school and then was home with the kiddos most of the time.

I think it is because her and Kacy are so close. Kacy is finally starting to branch out and get other friends.
