Hey long term plans are good! I personally vote for Disneyland. It's my home park and I bet if you plan a trip to Disneyland Scotty would want to come and meet Braeton.

Hey Jamie, when we leave FL in May, we to leave here about May 6, we may leave a day or two earlier just to stay longer on the road, sight see our way back. We want to try and figure out someplace and time to meet you as we pass through. right now I don't know what time or what day it will be but we'll talk more about it then. You interested?

Yep we gonna pimp out the new ride soon as we get back to La so Bryan has time and a place to work on it. I can't wait. I'm loving that thing already!

That's what I like about you all. You're not judgmental. I was reading a thread (I'm not even going to look at it anymore) that implied that people with body piercings were dirty. What? If I was dirty, my piercings would have gotten infected and given me diseases a long time ago.

Threads like that make me mad a little bit. I've gotta step away after awhile.

I live in the Chicago area and we got anywhere from 3 - 6 inches depending on how far north of the city you live.

The are a lot of you from Louisiana - do you know each other prior to this thread?

I just got back from Chicago! It was cooooold !!!

No we didn't --- QM is actually a transplant. Just me and Cher Bear are from Louisiana.

I live in the Chicago area and we got anywhere from 3 - 6 inches depending on how far north of the city you live.

Now on the upswing it has been above freezing all day and the sun came out this afternoon so a lot of it has melted

QM - Going to reply to your PM about sleeping in a couple of minutes. I know exactly where Champions Gate is - how fun has that been!! Thanks for the info on golf carts. We are closing next month and need to see how much money is left over from buying the basics hmmmmmm like a bed.

Hey Chrismiss, you are lucky you are going to have a vacation home here! Not many people know where Champions Gate is, glad you know. We are the first turn right off of I-4 at the 7 eleven and down the end of the road at that resort. I've been really loving it here. In fact, so much so that I am heading over to the pool, lol.

Glad knitting was great! It's always fun to get together with a group of friends!

I just re read your post, my cousin lives in the Chicago area and my BIL lives in the Chicago area, Downers Grove and he has a farm out in Dixon I think it is. Small world huh?

Jamie, I will be happy to be back in my own house but wish that house was in FL. There just isn't much to do in the part of Louisiana that we live in. If you want to do anyting much at all you have to travel nearly 2 hours to get to an interstate. But I love the Louisiana people, i have made some great friends there that I will miss.

Not much. I am trying to finalize Disneyland plans and decide whether we are going in December or August. Right now I am so leaning towards August. We can stay an extra night for less money. How are you doing?

Extra night sounds great - but how does it stack up to Christmas in Disneyland? Hm - I have never been to Christmas in either Land or World, so I would probably forsake one night for the Christmas experience. Have you gone for Christmas before?

We went in December of 2005. It was nice and pretty. It was cold and wet though. One other thing about August is I won't have to take the kids out of school to go, Kacy starts the IB program next year and I am not sure that I want her missing the week before finals. It's not like before highschool when I could get their work to take with us. Also Scotty has been working so much overtime I think he is going to need a vacation by then.
