:lmao::lmao: nah that's just winter growth, right Cheri? :lmao:

I don't know about winter but that wouldn't be a bad idea seeing how it's so cold in the office. I already wear 2 pairs of leggings under my pants now. (and I'm wearing TWO jackets right now over my long-sleeved shirt) I'm okay right now but earlier I was FREEEZING even with the extra layers.

I think my body temp fluctuates a lot from morning to afternoon. I'm gonna have my thyroid checked again soon.

Geez, they still haven't done anything about the temp in that place??? That totally sucks!! Maybe the hair would help give you an extra layer.

Ah yeah, if your body temp is fluctuating a lot then that's probably a good idea for sure. I know Thyroid problems run in the family right?

yeah, mom has hypothyroidism. She didn't have it til she was in her 40's (or at least didn't find out til then) so I figured I didn't have to worry about it til then but who knows.

Yeah, it can affect you at any age but the late 30's/early 40's is the more common age. Hopefully it's not acting up.

I haven't done it but I've done a southerner quiz before and I passed 96%. I would assume that one is pretty much alike.

Does it have the question "what do you call the bug that rolls into a ball when you touch it?" (and I call it a doodlebug by the way)

I got my sunshine daily for today! WooHoo!! :woohoo::woohoo: Wonder what the big bonus incintives are going to be for this month

I got called in the morning yesterday that someone working one of the temp assignments had a death in the family and they needed me to go fill in for the rest of yesterday and today. So I jumped up, got ready, headed into downtown Orlando and got a whopping 13 hour this week! :cool1: It's better than nothing.

Anyway I have been absent the past few days so I need to catch up. I hope there aren't a lot of pages! If there are, who wants to give me the Reader's Digest Version? Hmmmm? :confused3

I live next door to Park Ridge:cool1::cool1:

OMG what a small world! I was there to visit her a few years ago, I haven't been back since though. I hope to go again one day soon. I miss her and worry when I don't go for a while that the next time may be too late. My cousin is nearing her 80's. She's my favorite cousin, she and I were made from the same mold.

I had to go look, now she lives in Bloomingdale, IL. She lives in a condo. The huge house they had became too much for them. She made a fortune on the sale too as they had it for years before Park Ridge became the big yuppie neighborhood, buy the big houses, tear them down and build 3 and 4 story smaller houses on the lots.

Last night I was so tired (was the first day all on my own since my mom went home and DH went to work). But we did survive! :goodvibes

I couldn't get DD#2 to sleep at all...was finding myself getting all upset so finally I hand DD#2 to DH at 9:30pm and said, "She's Yours!" and walked away.

DH woke me up at midnight and asked if I wanted to nurse her or should I just give her some formula...I said, give her formula and fell back to sleep. I actually got 5 hours of sleep last night!!! It felt like :cloud9:

Thanks! I look at some of these pics and just can't wait to scrap them!!

Things are going. With DD3, it's like walking on egg shells...I never know what's going to set her off...however, she keeps telling me about once an hour, "Mommy, I love you!"...so I guess I'm doing something right!

Marshay you are doing good with the girls, I am sure its getting better every day, you got a little sleep, DD3 is telling you how much she loves you, it's all going to work out and you will eventually start getting more sleep!!!! :cutie:

Hiya!

hey QM! That's cool. Was it fun? I found temping to be kinda fun. Fresh and new cuz you're not in the same place for long, ya know?

I don't think there are many pages. I don't remember when you were here last but you've got to see what OB did to her kids for April Fool's Day, and the 2 new pics that Marshay posted. Also, Steph is going to get married next month and Jason has actually been sleeping 6-7 hours stretches at night. Lucky her!
Oh that reminds me, I was supposed to go back and look at the 2 pics that Steph posted. I couldn't see them earlier

Conversation this morning:

DD: Ewww what's this?
Me: Pancakes.
DD: No what's this on top?
Me: Halloween sprinkles.
DD: Ewww why?
Me: It's Halloween isn't it?
DD: No.
Me: Oh then it must be.....

Then I sent them to school looking like this:

They are supposed to have pink eye. DS's teacher's really fell for it. I haven't heard from DD's teacher yet.

Anybody else do anything today?

You are awesome Jamie, :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

What did their teachers say? I love it. I wish I'd have thought of that for when I got home from work yesterday, but then Bryan was sleeping so it would have been for nothing!

Morning All!!

Happy April Fools!!!

Never celebrated it as a kid - it is my mom's birthday and she takes it serious:):)

Will be having dinner with her tonight - Talk to everyone tomorrow!!!

Have a Magical Disney Day!

Hi Chrismiss, hope you had a great day and that your Mom's birthday was awesome!

Hey all :goodvibes I have no idea where I've been...just can't seem to get time do anything right now. I'm glad the thread is moving right along, it would be better if I could keep up

Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday!

Hi Betsy, we miss you!

Hey QM! How nice that you got that temp work.

I always loved the temp work too.

Hey guys! I tried to read everything but I dont think I have that much longer during this nap! :lmao: fill me in on whats goin on!!

man..Jason is starting his own routine.. 6-7 hours at night uaually around midnight (tho i would like him to sleep soon at least i get a good stretch) and then hes up for about an hour to eat and get changed.. then sleeps for about 2 hours and does that till like late after noonish where he wants to be up for a while cooing and playing then another nap (aka now.. lol) and up and down till he gets his bath then a short nap, a bottle and a 6-7 hour sleep!!

Hola and welcome.. I am Stephanie (kaoden39's niece) and I am 21 with an adorable 3 mo. old (on the third) baby boy! :goodvibes and a fiance who has totally changed for the better on me when we had our baby!

so I started my job and it is fun! the people are nice and the day goes fast.. I havent satrted the over night shift yet.. will do that next week.. ive been working days for now for training.. Im off today and opted to stay home from Winters and stay with jason so Josh can go to Winters to finish our trailer that we should hopefully be moving into on saturday.. and heres some news for everyone.. Josh and I are going to be getting married on the 18th of may.. gunna be going to the court house with just our parents and siblings and doing it that way then hopefully if money permits doing a party thing after with just family.. so you will hear soon about that Auntie.. if we decide it can be afforded (aka if Joshs mom will front the money and we pay her back)

im gunna go back and read a bit (untill Jason wakes up) to see if I missed anything big..

Congratulations Steph! You know me, being the Mom MOm and all I have to make the sensible comments. I think you are doing the right thing having a simple ceremony with your just family. As far a big party later, well if it isn't too big it might be nice but don't go spending a lot of money on a big wedding party. Afterall you only just started working and you have a baby to raise. All money spent on a big wedding party would be much better spent on your family. You could celebrate in a small way, a nice little party with family and friends each bringing a dish and just keep it simple. What counts is that they come to celebrate your happiness. I had a niece who had her baby before her wedding and she opted for a small party at her Mom's house. I made the wedding cake, everyone brought a dish and there was little they had to buy and it was a small gathering of family with a few close friends. She needed the money because of the baby and the new marriage as opposed to a big wedding.

Ok that's it, the end of my motherly advice.
