UJ said that a bunch of schools are closed in MI due to H1N1... hundreds of kids out with it. They are trying to vax all the kids here in school but I have no idea when they will actually get it done. I think it just might be too late.

Just got back from the doctor's office. Not swine flu. Whew. In fact, she doesn't even think it's any kind of flu. They tested for strep but the rapid came back negative... she doesn't really think it's that. She thinks it's viral but Evan's tonsils are huge and she's worried he'll turn bacterial. So she wrote me scripts for z-packs just in case.
The fact that his tonsils are so big and he has been sick so much lately makes her wonder if he's going to have to have them removed.
When Evan was sick with the pukies last time I got a script for phenergan (anti-nausea) for him. He didn't use it all so I gave that to Owen this morning and that made a big difference. So we'll keep that up.
They are doing alright now that the fevers came down. They are hitting the dvr'd episodes of Clone Wars pretty hard.

I'm not up to much. I am getting a cold I think. I don't get colds often, but when I do they kick my butt. Scotty hurt himself at work so he has been home more than at work, it is killing him. And driving me nuts.It looks like he is going to have to have surgery. I added something else to my signature.

Hello, all. I think the last time I posted here was when school was getting ready to start!! I'm just waiting for facebook to upload pictures which is taking 8 years for some reason so I thought I would pop in. How is everyone? Any recent trips to the World? We went 2 weeks ago. We stayed at Kidani and did the Halloween party. It was a really nice getaway but man I couldn't believe it was just as hot there as when I left this summer! Hope everyone is doing well.

We are going to Disney In December
I'm doing really well, how are you?? The school year is in full swing and things have been crazy busy! I definitely have a very good group of kids this year though.

What are your December dates? We'll be at OKW December 25, 26, 26 and then BCV December 28-January 4. It'll be our fifth or sixth year in a row going at that time. Love love LOVE the Christmas decor!

Hey All, hope everyone is doing well. been busy here as usual.....I am finallly done with the house we are flipping.....its on the MARKET!! WOOO HOO....bring on some cash!!!! I have sold my DS16 car......first person that looked at it, paid full price.......I am very happy about that....

The senior QB has it....so my stepson (sophmore) is starting QB Sat!!....he is awesome and will do fine.....I'm very proud of him.....
I am soooo looking forward to our trip to the world...... For those of you going during that time frame .......I was informed by a CM that all Value resorts are booked and all Mods. (a few at CBR) are booked......because of Pop Warner......CM said it used to be on a weekend only......now they come for a week of it...Dec. 5-12. So Hang on, it will be crowded......Parks shouldnt be too bad....kids will all be at the sports complex...I think resort pools will be swamped.......
I did get the most valued piece of info. from a CM, his name was Hamill....He let me know during my 23rd call to Disney Travel Co. (trying to add the night at POR) that when they offer a special (like Free Dining) they set back just so many rooms and if someone cancels under the special ...THEY DO NOT RE-OFFER THAT SPECIAL FOR THAT CANC........WOW Do you think someone could have told me that to save me all the calling???
Example: POR sets aside 1,000 rooms under the special....1,000 get booked under it.....50 people canc. their ressie......so they really only have 950 rooms under the special..........I have been always told I could get one of those 50 that canc........not so according to Hamill.......He advised they have a high turnover rate of employees there and a lot dont know this.
SO.....No more whining from UJ about not getting a extra night or being on the phone for hours!!!!!!

Evan is the only one of us who still has tonsils. When she mentioned them I was like "oh, yeah, he has those!"
Did I ever tell you guys about Abby having hers out? Well, if so I'm just gonna repeat myself!
She had them out when she was in kindergarten, so she was 6. That little terd wouldn't eat or drink a thing afterward and ended up drying out and popping her stitches open. She was throwing up blood. It was the scariest parental moment I have ever had. I rushed her to the ER and they rushed her back into the OR to restitch her. After that the ENT told her if she didn't drink and eat that he would put her in the hospital. Thankfully it didn't come to that. Ugh, it was awful.
Owen was a much better patient when he had his out. He was in kindergarten too.
My little brother and I had ours out at the same time... when I was in first grade. I remember we shared a hospital room. They made you stay for 3 days then. This mean nurse made me eat dry toast before I could go home. Dry toast after they cut my tonsils out of my throat! I'll never forget that.
