I'm here. Been so bored lately I've been watching movies - which is something I never do.

I'm seriously going to scream. I just got up to go to the bathroom and my freaking back is all wet again. If there is CSF coming out again, I may as well just shoot myself. I just cannot bring myself to go through any more surgeries.

Hey I am sorry to hear that Nikki. I sure hope it isn't CSF coming out again. YOu've been through enough. Please let me know you are okay, will be saying a prayer that you will be fine and not need any more surgeries.

Can you believe I watched 17 Again with Zack Effron (sp?) in it? And I'm such a sap I cried over it. Then I watched The Proposal, which wasn't too bad, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. A lot of parts in that reminded me of Forrest Gump, though I'm not sure why.

Yeah, the doctor said I'm going to need more stitches. They put a couple of, I guess, those dissolving stitches in my spinal cord last Friday with that surgery. Obviously those didn't work, so I'm not sure how stitching me on the outside is going to help. I was looking online last night and I saw that the FDA just approved some kind of new glue that can seal up the spinal cord to prevent those kinds of things. But it was at the beginning of September that it was approved, so who knows if it has even been released for distribution yet. I'm not in pain yet, but if it keeps leaking like this, I know I will be.

I talked to my boss yesterday. I know they'll hold my position for twelve weeks. I think I'm on week four. This isn't good. These doctors need to find some way to make this stop happening quick!

Wow, you really are not feeling good huh!? I do want to see the proposal but the Zack Effron thing...blech! I did see Benjaman Button movie. I like the CG affects that made him look like a man child but I didn't really enjoy the movie itself.

I'm sorry that you have to go back to get re stitched yet again. I'll be praying for you girl that this is the last time and you will be on the road to recovery and back to work soon after this.

I had totally deluded myself into thinking I would make it to the first phase...thought I was so clever....but got shot down to reality really quick.

I really want to have a good cry over it...but it seems foolish to react that way. I know I'm soooo blessed -- I have family. I have health. I get to go to Disney. I own DVC. Truly, what more could I have asked for?

Oh, well. My consolation prize is that 1 month(ish) from now I'll be in Disney!!

No, actually because of the kids having all been sick this year they can't miss anymore school so I guess our next trip will be during the Summer.
