With me, since I had one that didn't work before, they didn't do that for me. They put some stitches in the dura (outside covering of the spinal cord) in the hopes that it would stay closed. And they stitched my side back together. Apparently all the CSF kind of dammed up where they stitched and glued my back together so many times, that it just took the route that the shunt which was in there previously took. Which is why it was coming out my side.

I learned not to plant raspberries unless I was sure I could get online to take care of them. They're ready so quickly.

So now you'll be able to get us all discounts on Levis? Right?

You know that you can use your mouse wheel or the little scrollie thing on the laptop to zoom in and out too, right?

I think his time may be coming. I'm letting my sister handle it though. At least finding a lawyer anyway. You would think with her being a lawyer she would know what she's doing.

Oh, and as far as proof goes, I have my medical records, yes. But the ones from him are incorrect. Him saying that I "stated I was feeling better" when I did not. Or if I did, it was only because I had been laying down for five days. When you have low CSF pressure, the longer you lay down, the better you're going to feel. The records are so wrong, it's pathetic.

I mean, you wouldn't let this go on, and now that he's living with her he's a hot mess. My heart just breaks for you. You definitely deserve your trip.

Cranky babies drive me nuts. I understand that it is a movie for kids, but if it's distracting other people, take the out for a couple minutes. Sometimes ya just want to slap the parents.

Hah, I just turned my phone on not too long ago. Have to set my alarm for it to wake me up in the morning. I'm home, so I have to get the kids ready for school. And my phone alarm is the ONLY thing that wakes me up. I should put it on the alarm only setting, but rarely do.

Seriously, that's exactly how the buses are. And that's putting it mildly. Not to mention the waiting. Have I ever mentioned this little problem I have with patience? Although I don't necessarily agree that you only get those things on the ride back to the hotel. Plenty of loud, obnoxious, stinky people in the morning.

And I'm terrible about picking them up. Half the time my phone is somewhere and I can't remember where I put it, or it is off, or the sound isn't on. I did ultimately get your message but it wasn't until after midnight.


For real! If people get mad about that, I'm up a creek. I never post on a daily basis. And I don't hit every thread I'm subscribed to when I do check in.

I called Disney Travel Co. today trying to still add 1 day to our free dining stay at POR......notta, nothing.....We have a night booked at POFQ as our backup plan but I would rather not have to change resorts the next day.......

Also, trying to add 4 people to our Ohana dinner.....notta again....CM said to just keep trying...........

I went and read about disney testing new seating program.

Now you are going to either have entire family standing in line (whining kids picture) or going to have mills of people standing around waiting for their family to get food, creating congestion

I think it will work ONLY if the food can come out VERY quickly. I agree...whining kids, strollers that can't go through the turnstiles, etc...the only other thing I was thinking was maybe I take girls and change diaper, go potty, wash hands, while DH orders the food.

It will be nice to have a guaranteed table, though.

And what I also don't like is the lack of a back to the chairs. I don't want to sit on a stool when I'm tired. This may sound silly, but I like resting my back.

Morning all! It is so sticky nasty here today! We have 98% humidity and it's headed to almost 90 today. Welcome to Florida, I guess. Although I've heard that it is usually a little bit cooler this time of year. The 70's would be heavenly.

Anyway, I'm in agreement about the seating thing. I'd have to see it in action. Since there are 5 of us we always split up when we are ordering. I feel like we are all in the way of everyone else. So Tom orders and I take the kids to sit down. I guess maybe the kids and I will hang out outside or like Marsha said, use the bathroom/ wash hands while he orders.

What is going to cause congestion and confusion are people who are not as savvy as us dissers and they go not knowing about it. I'll bet those poor CM's who are keeping people w/o food from sitting down are getting screamed at left and right!

It seems like all my posts lately are me ranting or whining about something. Well, hopefully you all like me enough to indulge me, cause I'm going to do it again.

So, I got home from the hospital at about 3 a.m. last night. Got next to no sleep, but my kids were at my MIL's house, so I'm figuring at least I'll get to sleep in a little bit. Not sure what time it was, but pretty early in the morning Joe sent me a text message telling me that his mom kept the kids home from school because they were sick and he was bringing them home when he came through the area. Okay...I miss the kids...fine with me.

Kyleigh isn't too sick. Her ear is sore. Shane has a bad cold, headache, worn out. I'm not sure if its just a cold or the flu. At any rate, he is the sicker of the two.

So Joe comes home from work and cleans some stuff up. Just general like putting dishes in the dishwasher, putting laundry away sort of thing. He takes a shower and says he's going to the store to pick up a few things that we're running low on. I asked him to please come home after he went to the store because the kids were sick and I can't be up constantly getting them things, cooking for them, cleaning up. Maybe I'm neglecting my parental responsibilities, but I just had my skull drilled into on Friday, as well as had my back and side opened up again. I feel okay, but I still need some time. I don't feel THAT good yet.

Gotta love my kids, they let me lay down and take a nap. But someone had to make sure they were fed, showered, teeth brushed, stuff like that. They're just kids and if you don't tell them, they apparently forget. So I power napped for about 45 minutes.

Hours went by, no sign of my husband. Shane was calling him because he wanted him to come home to make him something to eat before he was ready to go to sleep. Shane is the kind of person who eats lots of small meals throughout the day. Probably the reason he stays thin and the rest of us don't. At any rate, this is something that he's been doing for a long time, so he wanted something before he was ready to go to bed. And he was ready early because he didn't go to sleep until 1 a.m. the night before at MIL's. The kids don't sleep well there. I don't blame them, I wouldn't sleep well with the TV blaring and a dog crawling all over me either. We only use her as necessary.

He must have called three times. Each time Joe said he'd be home "shortly." It was getting close to 9:00, so I just made him something. I turned my phone on only to send Joe a message to tell him he was a *insert male body part here* and turned it back off. Shane went to bed, Kyleigh is still up. Around 10:00, she called her dad for something. She went to sleep shortly after.

Around 1:00 a.m., it finally stumbles it's drunken behind in the door. I said something snarky to him and he gives his usual, "I'm sorry." Yeah, BS you're sorry. I don't even want to hear it. So he went to bed. I stayed up a few more minutes and then I went to bed. He's passed out already. I tried to lay there and fall asleep, but I was mad, so that wasn't happening. Then I got a kick to the spine and two elbows to the head. I yelled at him, which apparently woke him up from his drunken stupor and he gave me another sorry. I had enough and took my tired behind to the couch.

So he acts like a freaking idiot, yet I'm the one on the couch. How is this fair? It's getting harder and harder for me not to wish that he was the one who had to deal with these diseases, chronic pain, and multiple surgeries.

Sorry for the long winded rant of a post. I just had to get all that off my chest, and at 3:30 in the morning, there really isn't anyone to talk to.

Oh Nikki I am so sorry that he's being such a **** and pain in the butt. How dare he let you lay there alone after what you've been through. My God its not like you had some elective surgery or something small, they were playing inside your brain, they cut you open in your back and side, how does he expect you to take care of the kids and feed them etc.

I DO wish he was the one dealing with all of that, let him see how it feels to be ignored and left alone to deal with what you've been dealing with. there just doesnt' seem to be any justice. Believe me, I've been there and done that, but not to your extent. I've needed mine and he brings me home, plops me on the couch, gives me a meal and a drink and that's the last I see of him sober so I know what you mean. What is wrong with us Nikki? We sure do attract the losers. We need to dump their butts and live together.

I do hope you start feeling better soon as I hate thinking of you this ill. I just wish I could do something for you! Thank God your kids are great and understand, you can tell they were raised by you, not with his influence!

I think the reason they are taking away the seats with the backs on them is because they don't want us staying in there just sitting and relaxing taking up space. I'm really mad about this whole situation. We all pay an arm and a leg to be there, we should all be treated like royalty....not cattle with $.

I honestly dont know how my niece is feeling now. I need to call or email her as I do hope she's better. You mean well but then you put it off as you are working, she is working and then you let it slip your mind, that is wrong of me. I need to find out.

I no longer plant strawberries or raspberries unless its in the morning and I know I can get on at night and harvest them. I did figure out the zoom in and zoom out thingy, finally, lol, so now I can see my whole farm. I expanded so now I have to dig up trees and replant them and stuff, oh so much work.

Sue that dr's butt off, regardless of his lies in the papers saying you said you felt better. You can clear that up easily.

Thanks Carla, there are "things" going on again and that is very upsetting and today is the 37th anniversary of when I lost my first daughter so that with his crap has made for a very bad week. I'm depressed and miserable and lonely and I can't shake it. I think he's coming home this weekend but guess that will depend on his mood and what or who else he has to do this weekend. I wouldn't care other than I bought tickets for the Angola Prison Rodeo and I want to go!!! thanks for the hug, I needed it.

You are so right Carla, after all we spend a lot of money do a lot of walking and when we are in there we are spending more money eating so they need to let you relax a little and then you'll get back out there and be spending more money once you are rejuvenated.
