Well everybody, I am officially old. My "baby" Loren has his first girlfriend. At leas the first I have known about. Everyday when I pick him up from school he and Paisley hug each other when they say goodbye. :scared1:

wow. You ARE old :rotfl2::rotfl2:

jk

awww sorry you still have that zit girl :( but as you know I can feel your pain. Those zits are the worst. I hope it surfaces soon for you. Maybe if you put some rubbing alcohol on it it will help it surface faster.

I might try the rubbing alcohol thing on it tonight. I've been using Mike's differin gel(prescription he stole from his brother ) and it's not working. Usually that stuff makes any blemishes disappear if I catch them early enough (and I did try it a couple days ago when this thing started) but this one is just a beast!!! I can't believe it hasn't fully surfaced yet.

did I mention I have this GIGANTIC zit on my chin that appears to be trying to eat my face? I've never seen one so large in my life. It HURTS

I hear you sister! Those are the worst. I finally just broke down and got back on proactiv. :sad2:

My babies still think girls are gross. :lmao:

Paisley is a pretty name. I don't think I've ever heard of someone using that as a first name. I love me some Brad Paisley though! :lovestruc

And do you worry less if your child in the relationship is the boy?!?
(please say yes, please say yes, please say yes)

Umm, I wish I could say yes, but it is a yes-no situation. My girls are not as naive as Loren, so in that I think I worry more about him in that. He is more sensitive. But, I think all in all you do worry less about boys.

I've gotta make sure he won't shoot me either. She's about his height too so she's pretty tall.

Well that's cool that they are about the same height. Do you like her?

Okies. hope it works for you. If not, I've heard that toothpaste works as well. That stinks that the differin gel didn't work. With those zits that are SO deep under the skin they really do take a while. I would get at least one a month before I hit the age of 25. After that it kind of magically subsided.

I need some opinions (like I need to officially request them, right?)

Anyway, you know we are living in a new place. It's been what, 6 weeks?

Well, there is a dog across the street that is left outside ALL day EVERY day and he barks constantly. I am not exaggerating either... he barks all the freaking time. This morning he was at it when I got up at 6:30!

Now there are what sounds like maybe 2 other dogs outside as well and they are all barking. It's been going on for over an hour.

I just would not allow my dog to do that! And I don't leave my dog outside when I am not home for this very reason... not to mention it gets ridiculously hot here!

I have seriously had enough.

Here is where I'd like opinions.

Would you call the police on someone whose dog is constantly barking?

I feel bad because it isn't an emergency but what else could I do?

I'm new to the neighborhood and I don't want to make an enemy already but this dog is driving me crazy! :crazy2:

I am with everyone else

Animal control is the way to go

They should not be kept outside in that heat all day

Plus, am sure that barking is considered disruptin the peace or something

I already wrote about stupid person #1 from our trip in Kelly's PTR (Mr. Potato head guy)

I thought I'd tell the story about stupid person (couple) #2.

Mike and I were headed for the Tower of Terror standby line. The wait time was only 10 minutes and we had just gotten a RnRc FP so couldn't get one for ToT, but 10 minutes is great so who cares right? Well a couple was in front of us. They were stopped by the CM at the line entry who said "here, you can have these fastpasses, someone came through and forgot they had them". (They were for about 5-10 minutes from now) Well, the guy wouldn't take them out of the CM's hands. He was all confused or something. Then he was like "no thank you". And the CM, confused as can be, tried to just make the guy take them, when I kinda piped up and started to say "we'll take them" -- So the CM said "okay, she wants em" And I looked like "uhh you don't want them? Okay, we'll take them" :rotfl2:

Actually I would say this is multi-faceted stupidity because the people who GAVE THE CM the fastpasses must have been out of their minds. Did they not want to ride again? You never know when the wait-time will increase.

The wait actually ended up being less than 10 minutes, so we enjoyed one trip on it, and then another later on compliments of a bunch of stupid people. :lmao:

Love it :rotfl2:

aww...that is so cute

If you can snap a pic, definitely share it :goodvibes

We have a cub scout meeting tonight and I'm not prepared.

I'm failing already. :sad2:

:rotfl2:

C'ya!

Good Luck girl

Just play Drunk Bunco with them

A quick vent before I catch up...the doctor was just in here and he's going to put ANOTHER stitch in my back. With no anesthetic yet again. Do these people realize how freaking painful that is? I mean, it is already sensitive and then they go and put more stitches on top of other stitches and don't even give me a shot of lidocaine to numb it up. I so know why there is such a high suicide rate among people who have this disease. I am so sick of being poked.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

That is awful Nikki

So sorry.

DId u ask for any numbing stuff?

My sister has this same problem in the area where she lives. She talked to a cop from the area and he said to go talk to the people before actually calling animal control. I'm not sure what good that would do since they'll know you are the one who calls eventually, when it (most likely) doesn't stop. I don't think she did that though. She just called animal control. I'm not sure if they've done anything about it yet. But this is D.C. area we're talking about. They don't exactly have the best police force there, or the best animal control, I'm sure.

Their stupidity is your gain. Sometimes its good that there's so many stupid people in the world. I'm pretty sure all those stupid people were from Pennsylvania.
Sounds skeery! What's down there?!?! I am picturing trolls!
Ha!:rotfl: You crack me up.
well, the fastpasses weren't ready yet. So they couldn't have used them whenever it was they got in line. But they certainly could have used them to repeat ride!

Also, I was astonished at the number of people hanging out around the ledge (most sitting on that ledge) around RnRc and ToT....not doing anything, so I assumed they were waiting on their FP time. However, the lines were only 10-20 minutes many of the times I saw these people standing there. So they could have gotten in the Standby line, rode once, and then by the time they got out it probably would be time for FP's and they could ride again! Why waste your time sitting around at WDW???? :confused3:scared1:
Seriously? What is up with that? Remember how long we waited for RnRC last year? Why is it that when I go, the lines are always longer? I have no luck with that stuff.
did I mention I have this GIGANTIC zit on my chin that appears to be trying to eat my face? I've never seen one so large in my life. It HURTS
I hate giant painful zits! Sorry. Seems like a lot of us get those.

That is so cute. And yes, you are old.:rotfl:
wow. You ARE old :rotfl2::rotfl2:

They won't give it to me because apparently it causes seizures if it is mixed with cerebrospinal fluid. This doctor did give me a little smidge of it, so it wasn't AS bad as it was last night without anything.

They're supposed to give me ambien to help me sleep tonight. I dunno, I took it before and it did nothing for me. But I haven't slept in three days. I'm talking no sleep at all. Feel like I'm losing my mind.

And I'm REALLY mad at Joe. I'll have to vent about that later cause I'm just too mad at him and don't even want to think about it right now.

Kacy was like "Paisley?" isn't that a type of material?

:rotfl2:

I would call some type of humane society or animal control as it is not good for the animal to be left outside all day in that heat, let alone the barking it is doing. It's a nuisance as well as not good for the dog. I know you don't want to make an enemy but those type of people you dont need for a friend anyway. Plus if the dog is on a chain or restrained in anyway it could get attacked by something bigger than it and hurt and not be able to get away from it. I'm definitely for calling someone!

Thanks Karen. :goodvibes

I'm SO excited about it! I'm planning it over planning my December trip now. :rotfl:That's bad, isn't it? Anyways, yeah, we are really hoping one of us gets chosen for the Price Is Right. I'm hoping it's Chris. He's so much better at that stuff than me. I'll have to make shirts that make us stand out. And thanks for the tips on the hotels. I know we for sure want to stay on the strip and use the Monorail. I was actually looking into the MGM. I would LOVE to stay at the Palms but it is just so expensive. I looked at the Real World Suite (just out of curiosity) and it is $5,000 a NIGHT!!! :scared1: And that's not even the most expensive themed suite they have. Now I'm wondering that if there's no one staying in the Real World Suite while we're there if they will let us tour it. I just want to be where they taped the show. I've never heard of Death Valley before. See, this is why I need a UG for Cali and Vegas!! I want to know all of our options as far as things to do out there!! Thanks for the tips QM! I'll need all the help I can get planning this trip. Anything other than Disney is so foreign to me.

I think a trip through Death Valley is awesome. There are some pretty sites like painters pallet in Death Valley and also there is a placed called Red Rock or something similar will have to find out as I forget, but it has beautiful red mountains and there is an old Wild West town out there and they put on shows like it is actually back in the western days. When we got there I got chosen to be the Judge and I told them to hang the guy, LOL. It was fun. Then we went to Baker California to see the worlds largest working thermometer and then took the drive through Death Valley just be sure to fill your car up with gas before you get to Baker or you'll get ripped off knowing you need gas to get through there. You should have some water in the car too as it gets darn hot there! But there are cool things in the desert to see. I loved it.

I think staying on the strip is the best for a first timer, you want to see it all. YOu can go up to the casino with the roller coaster on the top, I forget what it is called now but it's the other end of the strip heading towards fremont Street. My sister is going out to Vegas in two weeks, they go every year.
