Abby went back to school today! Evan is home though. His temp was 102.5 this morning! He's kept some jello down though and he just ate a piece of toast and is drinking some gingerale. We're still waiting to see how that goes.



Eh, I'm alright... you can say Poor Love when I come down with it!

I am guessing it's the flu but he doesn't have all the symptoms.... he has a fever, a headache, is tired and puking. No chills, body aches or diarrhea. Who knows. I just can't decide if I should take him to the doc or not.

I hate the fevers, that is when it gets scary for me. Now I know in my logical brain I know that it means their bodies are fighting it but that doesn't help the mama side of the brain.

Oh glad Abby is feeling better. Poor Evan though. I hope you are taking some Airborne or something like that to help keep you from catching it as well.

So I just discovered that if you buy a FL res. AP right now you get an extra 3 months for free!!! I want them so bad and that is just not helping me get over that! Especially because I just realized the kids have Oct. 12 off from school and my birthday is the 9th and I'd love to spend that weekend at WDW!

So I just discovered that if you buy a FL res. AP right now you get an extra 3 months for free!!! I want them so bad and that is just not helping me get over that! Especially because I just realized the kids have Oct. 12 off from school and my birthday is the 9th and I'd love to spend that weekend at WDW!

You need to figure out the way to present how much money you will be saving by buying them. There has to be a way to work that angle.

Good morning everyone! Hope you all are well. Flooding is still affecting Georgia but the waters are beginning to recede which is good. I feel for those that lost everything though. It's just so crazy. We really got lucky that we weren't affected like so many others so close to us in vicinity.

In other news, I was doing more research last night on DLR. After doing some extensive research and photo looking at all 3 of the DLR resorts I have decided that we are going to stay 6 nights (maybe 7 if some sort of room only discount comes around btwn now and when I book) at the Disneyland Hotel. It looks like SO much fun and it's cheaper than Grand Californian so it's a win win. I'm pretty excited about staying there since it was the original resort from when Walt was still alive. The plan is to spend 3 days at DLR (2 @ DL and 1 @ CA) and then 2 or 3 days in Hollywood. I really want to see the Disney Soda Fountain, Chris wants to go to a taping of The Price Is Right and we want to see a movie at the Chinese Theater. After we're done in Cali we're gonna drive to Las Vegas and spend 3 days or so there. I really need to get a UG for Vegas. The hotels are confusing LOL. Anyways, that's what I've got so far on my California plans. I know this trip is 10 months away but I need to have how many days we are gonna stay and where before I book the trip, which I plan on doing in December.

Oh yeah and it's hump day! I'm SO ready for the weekend!!

I'm so glad that the floods are starting to recede but feel so bad for everyone who lost so much in the floods. That is so sad. I am happy though that you didn't get affected in that way.

Your trip out west sounds great, you want to do a lot of awesome stuff. Maybe you'll get picked to be on the stage at the Price is Right Taping and win something, wouldn't that be awesome?

There are a ton of good hotels in Vegas. We love the Palace Station but it is off the strip, you'd be okay as you are going to be driving out there but you may prefer to park the car and be right in the middle of it all. I think you'd like NY NY hotel, that is a nice one and the Excalibur is nice, MGM and that one that is a pyramid, I'm drawing a blank on the name. The Paris is really nice. There are so many new ones since the last time I was there so you may have been looking at tons of others that you'd prefer. Make sure you go up to Fremont Street one night for the light show. That is the old section where all the old casinos are, the Golden Nugget and that type, it's cool up there. As you drive from CA to Vegas you can stop in Baker, CA, the worlds largest working thermometer is there and it is the Gateway to Death Valley. You should take a drive through Death Valley, the desert is awesome! I can't think of anything else right now to tell you about out there.
