Carla, why'd you send that storm here? It's FIERCE outside. Just before it started pouring I was outside making a phone call. At one point I had to grab onto the railing of the stairs because I was being blown off!! I've never seen winds that strong except during a hurricane!

awww I promise I didn't send it there. I sent our stinky rains north (sorry Kelly and Nikki). That stinks that the storm is so bad there. Hope it dies down before you have to go home.

Evan threw up on the bus ride home this afternoon! He had a temp. of 100.5 when I got him home and all cleaned up.



I am about at my wits end. It's going to be a long school year if this is the kind of luck we're going to have.

Poor thing... he is completely konked out on the couch right now.

I think I'll wait and see how Evan does through the night. If the vomiting continues I'm taking him to the doctor tomorrow and begging for enough tamiflu for the whole family. If Abby gets the flu on top of pneumonia it will be really bad. Like hospital stay bad, I just know it.

Thanks Love. I hope he feels better. And no you don't want Abby that sick. We got a phone call from the girls school saying that swine flu is here so I am really thrilled. No fever yet. so maybe it is a virus. I never run a fever though, I have had raging infections and not had a fever.

but it was because he was exhausted...ran around like a nut at recess

Good morning everyone! Hope you all are well. Flooding is still affecting Georgia but the waters are beginning to recede which is good. I feel for those that lost everything though. It's just so crazy. We really got lucky that we weren't affected like so many others so close to us in vicinity.

In other news, I was doing more research last night on DLR. After doing some extensive research and photo looking at all 3 of the DLR resorts I have decided that we are going to stay 6 nights (maybe 7 if some sort of room only discount comes around btwn now and when I book) at the Disneyland Hotel. It looks like SO much fun and it's cheaper than Grand Californian so it's a win win. I'm pretty excited about staying there since it was the original resort from when Walt was still alive. The plan is to spend 3 days at DLR (2 @ DL and 1 @ CA) and then 2 or 3 days in Hollywood. I really want to see the Disney Soda Fountain, Chris wants to go to a taping of The Price Is Right and we want to see a movie at the Chinese Theater. After we're done in Cali we're gonna drive to Las Vegas and spend 3 days or so there. I really need to get a UG for Vegas. The hotels are confusing LOL. Anyways, that's what I've got so far on my California plans. I know this trip is 10 months away but I need to have how many days we are gonna stay and where before I book the trip, which I plan on doing in December.

Oh yeah and it's hump day! I'm SO ready for the weekend!!
