OK everybody, been very busy around here....hope everyone is well.....We went to Cedar Point last weekend..big amusement park in Ohio....we had a lot of fun........its just not Disney.......No magic whatsoever......just a park with a lot of rides.......The boys love it......

This is Top Thrill Dragster, it goes 120mph, up 420', then back down 420', yes I rode it....it was cool!!! It was the first coaster to break the 400' foot barrier (japan now has one taller).

OOOH, this looks so cool!!! I went on one similar but only hit 300'...

I'm just driving by on my way to bed actually. But I had to mention that I just read a story on MSN that one of the Beastie Boys has cancer. I was sad to hear that... but he is going to be fine. His docs believe it to be very localized and feel they can remove it and he will be okay.

That said... I would really like to know when the Beastie BOYS became the Beastie OLD DUDES?

Seriously people, were any of you aware of this happening? They have like, gray hair!

And as I pondered about how old they probably are I realized they are probably right about MY age.

Rachel comes home in about 1.5 hours!

I'm happy she is coming back but I must admit, it was nice to have the extra free time when Elie napped...

I made a big "Welcome home Rachel from Dad, Elie and Mom" drawing on the driveway with chalk...I even drew pictures of all of us and our 2 cats! Now just hoping it doesn't rain before they get here.

I'm in a sea of cardboard!!! The packers are making big progress. It's so strange to walk through the house with cardboard boxes stacked to the ceiling. They will finish the packing tomorrow, including the computer... so it's adios from me until sometime next week probably. See y'all when I see y'all!!!

Glad the packing is going successfully! You're lucky to not have to do it yourself. I hope the move and unpacking go well too. I look forward to seeing the pictures you post!

The bad news is we had to change from the beautiful Wilderness Lodge to value. The good news (well sorta) is that we actually managed to get into Pop...when last week it was showing not available when I searched online. I figured as it got closer to the 45 day mark that we might be able to get in and I was right.

At least we are going to Disney...but will I EVER get to stay Deluxe?

I actually just noticed before I read this post. I'm sure you'll eventually get to stay deluxe. Just be greatful that you get to go. A lot don't even get that luxury.

We went to Toys R Us and Target Tonight and got most of Trent's school supplies.

At Toys R Us, they had a good deal...If you buy any backpack $12.99 or more, you get one of their $9.99 Lunch Bags for free.


No more Disney for Trent....


His school bag is currently in car along with lunchbag, as it was pouring when we got home and wanted to get right in house. So, I googled and I found ones close to his lunch bag and his backpack.

THen we hit Target...I got his glue stick, crayons and folder


They had no star wars folders..so Mommmy got her way
