We're doing pretty good...Rachel started VBS (Vacation Bible School) last night. This is her first year and she is enjoying it. I actually had to iron on my first patch! Yes, it turned out fine...never tried that before but it's super simple.

I prepped more pages to Rachel's Autograph book tonight -- Jiminy Cricket, Bullseye/Woody/Jessie. I can't wait to go to my weekend crop to start putting the book together...of course I'll have photos!

I woke up this morning with a deformed face...underneath my left eye is all swollen. I don't know if it's a stye because it's not itching at all, (knock on wood)

unfortunately my cheek feels a little stiff as well

yes, it seems like it might have gotten a teeny bit better though. Mike is meeting me for lunch, I'll have to see what he thinks of it. I've also asked him to bring me a washcloth, that way I can apply a warm compress a few times this afternoon if it hasn't gone down by lunch.

If it's swollen you want to apply a cold or cool compress. If it's not better, you might want to check with your doctor.

I'm going for the hands are him begging to see his Mom Mom! My hands are folded the same way, begging to get to go and see him.

I do enjoy watching everyone's kids growing up on here, it's really nice. They are all different ages and it's nice to see them all.

We've been having some wicked storms the past week and yesterday we had one whip up out of nowhere. I heard a tornado warning (or watch, I forget) on the radio for up by my house, glad I was down here, but was worried Beau would be flying off to Kansas. Luckily nothing happened, just heavy rains.

I took pics of our stormy sky. This first one was taking out of the front door of where I work. I opened the door and the wind nearly tore the big heavy door off its hinges!

Then I walked to the side of the building to see what it looked like looking towards home and this is what I saw!!!

Right after I came back inside the skies just opened up and the thunder roared, so glad it stopped by the time I had to leave!
