I made it all the way to the end of the podcast with a dry eye, untill the song.

Bawb, we miss you and will always love you !

I haven't listened to it yet and now know that I will need to wait until I am not at work. :grouphug:

Me too! WOW....tough. But sure puts life into perspective hu! Work is busy..life is busy...all irrelevant! Thanks for the pick me up guys!

I will give you a little insight into the recording of this show....

We recorded the whole show without tears. There were a couple of eyes welling up...but no real tears. This was a celebration of Bob.

We all knew Pete was going to end the show with this song.....and we all knew that it would push us over the edge.

Knowing that....Pete added the song during the editing process.

He's the only one that heard the song as part of the show and I am certain that he wasnt dry eyed at that point.

In my opinion....it's the perfect musical tribute.

I just finished listening and I also made it through with no tears, until the song. I only met him once, but I immediatly understood how easy it wasy to love him.

It's amazing how a song can elicit such emotion. I've loved the song ever since I first heard it, but after hearing it in today's Podcast it will always make me think of Bob.

I can't image anyone who knew Bob, be it personally or through the Podcast, not being moved to tears when hearing "For Good". It describes Bob's selflessness and innocence perfectly. How wonderful to be able to experience the song with him as one of your last shared memories.

Thanks for putting together such a beautiful tribute.

I felt the same way. I don't post here often and I've never met any of the podcast crew, but I listen every week and have since November 2006. while I was listening to the show my Dh was sitting with me. During the song I started crying and he asked what's wrong. When I told him, he said, "But you don't know these people at all."

I told him ,"Yes I do. and even though we've never met I still think of them as friends, I know we would be if I met them."

So from this lurker, yet loyal listener, thanks so much for the show today. It was nice remembering Bob. Like you said, I know we would have been friends the minute we met one another.

Kevin I have to agree with you on that. Bob touched us all . He made us laugh , He was soo compassionate about everything Disney. It's hard to believe that Bob left us last year . But he is still with us in spirit. I'm sure Bob and God are playing "Bob Golf" now.

What a wonderful show. I've listened to it twice now. As funny as it was, it's also a joy to hear the love for Bob from everyone. I have never really sat and listened to the whole song and all the words to "For Good." I did today, I sat with my eyes closed and really listened...it's truly beautiful and a perfect way to remember Bob. The show was the perfect celebration of Bob's life. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Like all the others, I made it through the show with no tears, til the end. I have actually never heard that song, For Good, as I never had a chance to see Wicked while it was here in Chicago... for a really long run I might add. It was just a busy time of life for me with my daughter being so young. However, I have listened to the song twice now and I can honestly say, that it will remind me of Bob from now on, but it also made me reflect on all the people that have come into my life or left my life who have had a positive effect on me. People that I am so grateful for. It seems like you really only get a few of these people in one lifetime, so we all need to cherish them while they are here.

Also, the discussion about teasing Bob or picking on Bob made me smile because like it is with Disney, you either get it or you didn't. If you had any sense of the podcast crew in general, you could tell that all the teasing was done in jest and came from love.

I was grocery shopping while listening to the show and I cannot tell you how many smiles I got in return for the smile I had on my face. People thought I was smiling at them, but I was really smiling because of Bob. I'm sure a lot of people thought I was carnival ape crazy too!!

Thanks for the great show!

I just want to say thanks for the song at the end as well. I'd never heard it myself. It's a touching tribute to Bawb for sure. I lost my best friend in an auto accident a little over 2 years ago, and this song really brought back memories of him for me. Thanks Pete!

Yeah I made it to the song w/o tears, but the song broke me down! I wish that I would have gotten to meet Bob, and I only hope that when I'm gone, I will have touched the lives of half as many people... We miss you Bob, thanks for everything.

Listening to the show right now as I read this thread. Haven't even made it to the song yet, and I'm already tearing up just thinking about it. :(

wow.

thanks for introducing me to such a wonderful song. i've listened to it maybe 10 times today alone. I have to see Wicked now. Will forever remind me of Bob.

What a wonderful show! I truly enjoyed the personal stories that each of you had during your time with Bob. A great insight into who he truly was. And I also have a new song that has a special meaning from now on. Thanks!

It was a great show. I really enjoyed getting to hear the team's perspective along with the clips this time. The song really got to me, as well. Such a great tribute!
