For folks who have stayed at a value resort

We are spending one night at the all stars before checking in at Old Key West. I have never stayed at a value resort before so I have a question---Is bell service available and will they transfer our luggage from the All stars to OKW for us? Thanks for your help.

I am interested in this too....DH and I are staying at All Star Music for the first 2 nights then transferring to Port Orleans Riverside to start our package......we are hoping to be able to get our luggage transferred, but if it usually takes a while, we will probably just take them ourselves!!!

i think we usually just took our luggage to our rooms, cause we usually go down to disney by train, and when we finally get there.......haha we just want to go shower , etc. so we dont want to wait for luggage.

no problems - luggage service will be happy to transfer your luggage.

you won't (probably) get your luggage at the other place until you are there. (so they get their tip) - also sometimes not until offical check in time.

yes they wil transfer your bags to your new resort. We usually take ours with us but they will do that for you.

Very true, but make sure you plan ahead for bell services to come and pick them up. It can take up to an hour for them to show up at your room, and they won't allow you to just leave them there. You actually have to wait in your room until the bellman picks them up, and that wait can cut into any Disney commando's schedule!! Have fun!!

no at a value resort.... it is best (unless you got too many or they are too heavy) to just bring them to luggage services.

the others make you wait so they can get their tip... the value resorts do NOT require you to tip for luggage help.
