I'm just curious......do other people find that their male cats are more affectionate than their females?
We've had many cats over the years. Right now we have four -- two males and two females (all fixed). The two males are SO sweet and will get right in your face for some lovin'. The females are friendly enough but much more independent and at times just plain stand-off-ish.
As I thought back over the years, all my memories of the really friendly, cuddly cats, they were the males.
So, just wondering if there's something to that or if we've just had an odd experience!

. He likes to spend a lot of time outside and loves it if we're out there with him (he doesn't understand why humans live indoors).
