We're thinking about doing the 7 day Magic back to back in a couple of years, and want to "pick your brains" about back to back cruising.

Can you check in for both cruises at once on the first day of the first sailing?

Can you book spa reservations for the second sailing during the first one in order to avoid the rush?

Provided you will be in the same stateroom on both sailings, can you leave everything in the stateroom at the end of the first sailing, or do you have to pack everything up and then unpack it all again?

Do you have to get off the ship at the port, or can you stay on? (I guess this depends if you can check in for both sailings at the beginning.)

If you do have to disembark between sailings, I would imagine you take passports and cruise docs with you, but what do you do for a few hours?

Any other tips?

Thanks!

Anne

Can you check in for both cruises at once on the first day of the first sailing? No, you have to check in for each on seperately. The second one, on the ship if you can stay on

Provided you will be in the same stateroom on both sailings, can you leave everything in the stateroom at the end of the first sailing, or do you have to pack everything up and then unpack it all again? Yes, you can leave your stuff in your state room, but if you don't have the same stateroom you will have to pack, and they will move your luggage to your new stateroom when it is ready.

Do you have to get off the ship at the port, or can you stay on? (I guess this depends if you can check in for both sailings at the beginning.) This depends on customs, when we sailed we were allowed to stay on, but it can change at anytime and from cruise to cruise. Do NOTE: The pools are not filled until 11am, and may not be available at all if they are doing maint. in the area. There is no food available from breakfast until the buffet starts. And your KTTW card won't open your door after 8am. After 11:30am you can then check in at guest services to get your new KTTW card.

If you do have to disembark between sailings, I would imagine you take passports and cruise docs with you, but what do you do for a few hours? Yes you need to take everything you would otherwise need to check in at the port. Things to do, Kenedy Space Center, or take a cab to the Coco Beach area, and browse the shops.

Barb and Tony...

I am thinking about going on a year's worth of back-to-back cruises. Tell me, can I arrange to have my furniture moved onto the ship? ;)

Erin (wouldn't that be nice???!) :D

Not if you have one o the suites...

We were told that they built the walls with the doors to the corridors after the furniture wa put in, so they can't remove certain things, like the sofa and dining room table. Not sure what they'll do when it's itme to refurbish...

Oh well... it's ok though... their furniture is probably nicer than mine anyway....

Just wondering if you have any pictures of the Segways at Castaway Cay. We are going next week and DH was SO excited to hear he gets to try one out.

They also have the Segways on board. They charge you $20 to ride one around teh basketball court for 10 minutes or so.

I do have pictures of the Segways. I'll try to get those pics loaded in the next few days.

The price on the Wonder was $15 for 10 minutes.

They offered it on the Sports deck when docked in Nassau. And on the Dock at Castaway Cay. I would reccomend doing it here as the area was way larger than the sports deck.
