For bag check, what counts as a bag?

Was thinking that instead of dealing with a diaper bag, we would organize our stuff for the kiddo into "grab and go" clear Ziploc bags (one for diapers/wipes, one for snacks, one for change of clothes, etc), and just toss them into the bottom carrier of our stroller. My question is, should I assume that even though these are transparent, they still need to go through bag check at the parks?

Which makes me wonder if all strollers have to be checked, regardless, due to the bottom carrier?

Thanks!

Strollers with a basket are checked bags or not. If it isn't busy sometimes they will let you through the no bag line and do a quick exam but depends on security that day.

I think they will check, but it will still go quicker because they will be able to see through the bags.

Last time we did a backpack and small soft cooler and before we got to bag check my DH or FIL would take both bags, so nothing was under the stroller and DD1, MIL, and I would just go through to the gate. No one ever stopped us in the stroller, but we also didn't have anything under it either. Once we were into the park we would store the stuff under the stroller again. It wasn't bad and hardly took any time.

It's also more time-consuming to fold the stroller when there's things in the basket.
We always did the "grab and go" ziplocs inside the diaper bag so it was easy to grab what was needed.

No matter what you decide to do, any bag will be at least "felt" by security. I tend to play devil's advocate in looking out for worse cases but, you could have a clear zippered plastic bag with what appears to be two diapers in it. But, in between those two diapers could be a bottle of something that doesn't come out of your body. Or, something that could go, er, into your body with a snap of a wrist. NOT saying the OP would do this or anyone else - just pointing out what COULD happen.

Bag checks don't take that much time if you are prepared and it's far less worse than a possible alternative.
