For anyone flying on American Airlines

Just in case anyone has flights thru St. Louis.....all these flights have been reduced by half, which resulted in a complete schedule change for me. Including a return flight that left at 930am ! I was able to change my return flight to an afternoon flight so that I wouldnt miss the plane! But if you dont do it soon they may have sold out.

Flying BOS-MIA then MIA-MCO on American on 2/13/04.

They changed our flight number and seats from Boston to Miami. Same plane, same time, different number and seats are 3 rows back.

Not too big a change, but am watching for more

Unfortunately all airlines are cutting back where they can. I just wanted people to make sure they check their flights as this could have been a huge problem for me during my trip. Thanks

Not only did AA cut out 1/2 of flights from STL to MCO, they also severely cut the commuter connections into STL.

Our local airport went from 10 flights daily to 3.

This severly impacted my flights in November. Since I had heard it was coming, I called AA and they told me it was to happen on 7/20, probably at midnight.

So, I stayed up late Saturday night/Sunday morning, and right after midnight I was able to access new schedule, but could not see my reservation. I was very concerned because flight home on Sunday is already almost full.

I picked new flights and called AA about 1:00 a.m. Was able to change flights and pick seats (they did a horrible job reassigning seats). We now leave from home about 4 hours earlier (have to take DS out of school early that day), and will leave to come home 4 hours early (good-bye to that trip to DTD).

Luckily everything worked okay for us, I hope it does for everyone.
