Disney trip and it is killing you, this might help ease the pain just a little bit.

We have been to Disney twice in the past year. The first time was for our Disneymoon in April of 2004. We booked that in September of 03 without knowing anything :confused3 , such as time we were going and hotels and all the fun stuff. The 8 months flew by. I didn't have to go to work for another couple of days and the day I had to go to work and the day before I just broke out in tears :guilty: :( . Even during this trip I took a lot of footage on the camcorder cause I didn't know when we would be back...

Not even 2 weeks went by and I begged DW :bride: that I needed another trip. She agreed. :goodvibes So we booked our trip for December. We booked for POR and that was when :earsgirl: was talking with the travel agent. I started talking to her and decided to surprise :earsgirl: by booking our stay at WL. I was going to try and hold it in all the way until we got to Disney, but I couldn't see :earsgirl: do all this research and come to find out that they were doing some remoldeling at POR. So I told her and she was all so happy... 8 months flew by again and went. On both of the trip and really on this past trip on the last day, I cried and DW started crying cause I didn't want to come home.

Hoping and praying for both times for the time to fly by and it seemed like :hourglass time stood still until we were there and time just flew by. I still talk about going and realized that the planning, and getting on dis helped out a lot and was a lot of fun.

Now when you think all the fun and magic are over there is more. :)

My dad and step mom just moved from KY to FL right by the West Palm Beach airport. I talked to :earsgirl: on Tuesday night and said that our biggest problem was that we saved all these months just to stay a week. So the biggest thing was the money aspect of it. She agreed. Well my dad invited us any time we wanted to come to FL and stay at his place for free. I explained this to :earsgirl: and she got that look in her eye :sad2: .

I suggested that we postpone our vacation time in July and go in October and we could go visit him and possibly driving down to Orlando for a couple of days (2 hour drive). She went for it... Not realizing all this time that the week I was talking about was around my bday...

So now we are going to stay at my dads' for 2 days and drive down to DIsney and be there for 5 days and going to our first MNSSHP.

So the moral of this story is when you wish upon a star and don't think that it is possible to go back home, it is. But also realize that you shouldn't wish the time to pass by so quickly, cause you never know when you might get to go back home....

Short in between trips are really a great way to get a taste while waiting for a big trip. I know I should of been there in 48 hours-- we had to cancel last week. However, I still have a short 4 day trip in October. The bright side is due to this cancellation, we are looking at booking 2 full weeks in February-- so something good is coming out of it.
