I don’t think I’ll ever miss that!!We do not miss shoveling snow!!!
We also do Cuomo bridge. I hate GWWe went 95 the whole way except we went over the Cuomo bridge (former Tappan Zee) instead of the George Washington. Plymouth is so nice but I bet Winter Garden is nicer especially in the winter!
For the adventureWhy would anyone drive 2,000 miles outside of extreme fear of air travel?
ZERO.
Would love to price out gas/time costs versus just taking discount carrier (Spirit/Frontier).
Early morning flight on day 1 will put you in the park by evening.
Days 2-3 full days in Park
Day 4 park am with last flight out.
You get to see 4 parks.
3 nights in hotel.
Much less food bill.

I drive there five days a week. lol. The worst part is every time I leave the park, I drive home.We drive and still have lots of vacation days.
We fly as well but never Spirit/Frontier.
This trip we left last Thursday night got in Friday after noon. We drive home the following Saturday. If we wanted we had 7 park days not that we would ever do that. We’re at the beach today.
Just reading this again. I’m in SE MA I didn’t know you were in southeastern MA tooDeparted southeastern Mass at 2:30 am yesterday morning. Stopped twice for gas and restrooms. Arrived in Santee, SC at 4:50 pm. Smooth sailing the entire way. We considered continuing on but decided to stop for the night. Left the hotel at 7:40 this morning. Stopping for lunch in St. Augustine then on to Disney Springs! Best travel days ever!
I didn’t know you were either! I thought you were from Rhode Island for some reason.Just reading this again. I’m in SE MA I didn’t know you were in southeastern MA too

I find it much more convenient to pack a car and go rather than try to pack less to meet luggage requirements. The journey is just as important as the destination. (But in all honeslty, I pretty much have all the time in the world as I'm retired, so I'm not dealing with a work schedule or school schedule.)Why would anyone drive 2,000 miles outside of extreme fear of air travel?
YES!!! Finally after all these years. You caught me off guard, I thought you already left to head home. Lol. It was great meeting you! Let me know the next time you’re coming down, I can give you my schedule and where to find me.Today I had the pleasure of meeting David, dvczerfs, at Epcot. David, thank you for the nice chat. It is always nice to put a voice and face with a name. Maybe I'll catch you again before the year is out.
