Just curious -- Have you kept your DVC membership?

Yes. We kept our DVC and also annual pass. We maintain our annual passes because we have no block out dates. The last two years we stayed in a bungalow at the Poly for a week and a long weekend during food and wine at the Boardwalk. This February, we most likely will be staying in a cabin at Wildness Lodge. Don’t know how much we will use the “pool” in the cabin but the two way fireplace I’m sure will get used. lol.
If it was up to me, I would have sold it but my family still likes vacationing here. I do to but they usually leave me behind because it don’t matter where we go, I run into someone I work or worked with and it’s never a ten second hello.
Nothing like vacationing where you work. Lol

We are all good. Just windy here. We got about an inch of rain. A few twigs in the driveway, that was about it. I also heard from BC1836, they are just find, same, a few twigs, very little rain.
Parks stayed open, windy and some rain around closing time was about it.
I left at 11:30pm and no rain and just some wind, it was better than most of the summer afternoon storms we get. Now for the people on the west coast and the big bend and further north, keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Most of the bridges in Tampa are closed and a lot of storm surge up and down the gulf coast, they got flooded big time.

If you’re coming down I95 today, watch the local forecast from North Carolina south. I have a friend who was is trying to head north today out of the pan handle and was advised to stay put.

To all the long time 2000 plus mile drivers, and new ones. We made it through another one!!! We had a lot of nos with this one. No property damage at, no rain, no power and no cell service. lol. We are all fine, house didn’t even get a ripped screen. Power and cell service went out last night at 10:30, we were cut off from the outside world. I drove eight miles this morning to get a cell signal to notify friends and family we were fine.
I also talked to BC, they are fine. Just wind and they have power. We are currently at our daughters in Clermont Fl. She has power. Back to work tomorrow!

My DH flew down Monday to take in our patio furniture. All was good at the condo. I’m flying down tomorrow night for the long weekend- was planned months ago. So happy I will still make it.

What role do you assume? Wondering how we might spot you. I'm in the parks a couple of times a week (hurricanes excepted).

No. I'm local and the gas stations are all open and have gas.

In Lake Mary there’s no gas. We had to get it on 192 yesterday.
Even on 192 there were covers on pumps and signs- mostly smaller stations like circle k and 7/11.
We got ours at Wawa

I live in Davenport and there’s gas. I also got gas on property this morning without a problem.
