I have put off posting this, but I can't wait anymore! I am SO nervous about driving all the way to Orlando. I'll try my best to make this understandable.
We will be at WDW Sept 11- 15 then we will be headed to Siesta Keys Sept 15-17. Hopefully we are home on the 18th.
I have used google maps mostly, because that is what our GPS uses. I do have a road Atlas as well, but I have not consulted it yet.
This is also a suprise trip so we are arriving in Clermont, FL the night before we arrive at Disney.
Here we go, hold on tight!
Sept 9- friday- Depart at 6:30 pm from Shelbyville, IN. We plan to book a Hotel in Chatanooga, TN. With a stop this should put us there around 2:30 am.
Sept 10- saturday- Depart 9:30 am from Chatanooga, TN. We are hoping to arrive in Clermont, FL around 9 pm with a few stops.
Sept 11- Sunday- arrive at WDW around 9 am, this will give us time to check in, and get our passes (whatever they are called), then decide what park to go to. The first day is kids' choice, then I have planned everything else.
What do you think about this plan? Any suggestions on routes to avoid? Would you leave friday night or early saturday morning?
We have toyed with the idea of leaving around 3 am on saturday. but I don't think we would get to Clermont until 11pm or 12 am?
We are a family of 4, DH, me, DD 8, and DS 6.
Our trip totals for miles will be around 2200 after we get to the beach. But this is without any extra driving (stores, around the parks, when we get lost haha).
Suggestions are welcomed. I hope I included all the necessary info

. Thanks in advance.
