I left my room at Kidani around 7:10 am. Was at the tapstile in AK by 7:40 or so (where I met a British family who were going to do Kali first as per TP! I saved them!!). I wound up about 8 people back at the rope to Pandora (after letting all the runners pass me). They dropped the rope at 8:40. I was off FoP by 9:08 and got back online. Wait times said 90 minutes, but I was off the second ride just before 10am!!

Wow...Nice score...Then you had plenty of time to peruse the surrounding area I'm guessing?

Nice!! This is really the way to do it if your family can get up and going early like that. I'll bet it made for a nice day at AK for you guys since you were able to score FoP first thing!

Wow. You got lucky. When I did rope drop a couple weeks ago there was a 2.5 hour line by the time I got back out front through the gift shop at 9:10. The line stretched all the way down to Festival of the Lion King.

Yes - the line was down to the bridge ... and the app said 90 minutes - but it was misleading. Some of the interior cue was not in use and once I got past the holding area and onto the mountain, the line moved non-stop until we were inside and past the cave section.
I'm in Satuli now and thinking about waiting again to see if the 115 time is correct :)

Yes! Do it! You're my hero!

Awesome, enjoy your trip!!! I just got a FP for October 1st and I cannot wait.

Ok - it's 1:53 and I'm in the genetic matching room. So, total wait time was 1 hr, 38 minutes ... about 15 minutes less than te posted time, but pretty close.

I just wanted to let everyone know about our FOP experience. We planned a last-minute vacation about three weeks out so there was no chance of us getting FOP fast passes. We arrived on Sunday, July 16. After we arrived at WDW I kept checking for FOP fast passes and we lucked out! I was able to get 4 FOP fast passes for that evening! We also did FOP a second time that evening using the standby line. I kept checking the wait times for standby and around 9:30 or so it went down to 95 minutes and we jumped on the standby line. If you're there on a Sunday I think Sunday evenings is a good time to go because a lot of people are checking out and checking in that day and the standby line was the lowest I saw all week if you're not into doing Rope Drop.
