FOP rope drop

Just wondering if they still let you into park early to queue for FOP? If so where do they hold you b4 entering Pandora? So on a 9am opening what time would you be let enter the park? Thanks

We were let in about 30 mins early in December but the Pandora group were led straight to the land. We had FPs so we hit Navi first, which was funny as we were the only ones who went left. We saw some of the worst behaviour at this RD. Lots of families who gave all their bags to one family member, usually adult male, so that the group could go through no bag lines. ‘Donkey’ bag carriers then aggressively barging through tapstile line to join their family group and ‘unload’. As people were being walked by CMs to the land, large groups held hands to stop those behind creeping forward. Just lots of bad attitude and people sniping at each other really.

Oh jeepers that sounds a little intense alright. We will probably skip it. We have a pre opening adr. I know there is no short cut to Pandora but was hoping if people were maybe only 15 early let it we could get close to front b4 they entered or as they entered we could merge with them. We have a 9am navi FP so will probably juts go with that. (we have a fop FP later in wk). Thanks for reply

It is also worth getting in the FOP queue just before park closing time, maybe 5 mins.m before The posted queue times may look long but they seem to be exaggerated and the ride will keep running until the queue is emptied.

That's a great article thank you. I think we'll do our adr and aim to leave about 8:30(don't really mind characters as have done plenty of times and we got free dining so don't mind using a credit on it). Will see where we merge in with crowd and then decide if worth waiting or not. It's more my dh finds it very difficult to stand still or move slowly for any more than 30 mins because of back pain. If possible we will do it if not we will just do navi.

If you are not in the front of the crowd where they hold people at the bridge into Pandora, you are looking at a long wait. Depending on the size of your group, you may be able to get a same day FP for it. Keep refreshing!

Thanks I will try. Unfortunately its next weekend Sunday which is MLK weekend so I'm sure it will be plenty busy. I've been trying to modify my navi FP for the last 60 days and will definitely try again on day. I was also secretly hoping theyd redo the hrs to open at 8 for it but doesn't look likely now. Will see how it goes on day. Appreciate all the advice from everybody
