Footloose!

My dd Ashli had her school play last weekend. The musical this year was "Footloose!". Ashli had a small solo and did a great job (as her mama is unbiasedly reporting, lol) I wanted to share some pics with you guys. Thanks for looking!

This pic is of Ashli as a country singer on the stage, Ashli is wearing a white dress with a red vest:

This pic is of Ashli and Jacob. He was her main partner during most of the scenes for the choreography (they usually paired the students up so that there were several 'couples' across the stage)

This last pic is a group shot of most of the cast/crew of the production Footloose! Ashli is in the upper left corner.

Those of you that read the 'war' board know that Ashli had a hard time getting excited about the play but after opening night she was pumped up and ready to roll and had a great time doing this production.

That is WAY COOL! Congrats to Ashli for her part in "Footloose".

This thread really caught my eye, because I'm auditioning on the 11th for a community theatre production of "Footloose" here in the Clearwater, FL area. I do a lot of theatre and I'm trying out for Vi, Ren's mother. She has a duet with Ethel and also a solo "Can You Find It In Your Heart".

Congrats again and wish me luck. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hey Val, I think my second favorite song in that production is "Can You Find It in Your Heart". (My favorite being Ashli's rendition of "Let's Pretend We're in Love", LOL! )
I really like the part of that song that says something like "...did you ever think I miss you..."

Are you sending copies if the pics to Titus? Or copies from the thread?

I am so glad that she did a great job and got excited. I have said it before and shall say it again.....Ashli is having to do a lot of growing up right now
