Clarks have the pink older style ofr £36 so i may get a pair of those. My Mum is on a shopping trip in Boston and has bought me these:

Usually wear crocs, I have quite a few pairs. Different flip flop styles, the Cleos' and last year I bought a pair of the Sassari ones after I asked a woman on one of the Disney buses if they were comfortable, and she said they were great!!:goodvibes
My friend raves about fit flops though, and these are v-e-r-y pertty!!!;)
Do you know if they are cheaper to buy in the States, or is it better to get them over here?

Hi Jules :)

They are about £9 cheaper, so a nice discount, but not wirth risking if your shop has them in and you definitely want that colour and style and you might not find them in the USA.

The Disney ones are a really good price on site too. :) I love mine!

Good advice. I think I might pop over to Bluewater! Are the ones in Clarkes in stores or online?

I couldn't actually find fit flops on the Clarks website. :(

Are on Boots though, it's the Walkstar 1's that are £36 and I like the fuschia. :)

Mmm, nice!
You know what is really annoying about this is that a couple of years ago my mum (who is 81) saw something in the Mail about fit flops, and told me about them. I looked online, and the only place that had them was Boots, and they were sold out. I put down to be informed when they had some in stock, and they sent me an email but it was about Oct, so I didn't order them because I thought we were going into winter, and I wouldn't be wearing them untill the next year. Anyway big mistake, as they were only £25 then!!!:goodvibes

Oooh, didn't know you could get Disney fitflops!! How much are they, what do they look like and where do you buy them onsite?

Sorry for all the questions lol.....

I got mine in the AKL store, and they were £45.

Also come in black.

Can't see the pictures  but thanks for the info! We're staying at SSR so I'll have a look at DTD. We'll be eating at Jiko too, so if all else fails I can have a look at AKL then.

Hi,

last year I wore the big caymen crocs - not greatly attractive - with trainer socks - ok - even less attractive - BUT no rubs, no blisters, cool feet, no pain (I used to suffer greatly from plantar fascitis - crocs helped!). Crocs need to have lots of grip left on the bottom though, or you will slip when it's wet.

CROCS! everytime! i love crocs as i have trouble with flip flops or sandals rubbing me, so CROCS gets my vote! :thumbsup2 www.jellyegg.co.uk offer free delivery and good service i've bought 4 pairs of different designs from there so far. Caymans (!?) and their flipflop style are good and the Olivia's are good for evening. but they don't look that cool with socks and my DH gets annoyed when i stop to get the dust out....other that CROCS comfy worn in already, trainers.

i love crocs too, dd has the mickey toe poke crocs she loves them v v dirty as she literally lives in them when not in her school shoes.
i have 2 pairs of toe poke crocs and will alternate my v worn in pair with the pair im trying to wear in as we speak;)

Me, DD and DS live in our Crocs through the summer and have numerous pairs each.

I love them, I wear my pink ones to work too and am on my feet nearly all day and when I get home my feet don't hurt like they do if I wear my trainers. One year I wore a new pair that I hadn't broken in properly and they rubbed my feet so it was a great excuse to buy some Mickey socks from Mouse Gear!

As for what to wear to US, I wore my Crocs still and either sat on them on the rides where feet were dangling or I left them on the opposite side where you exit the ride. Some rides also have lockers but I don't know if you have to pay for these as I've never used them.

i cant think of any rides at wdw where you would have to hold shoes, we did at BG...

the fit flops look really pretty, but i can't wear anything between my toes...

Some people just can't. I know I don't like the feel of the between the toes bit. My DD is the same. At the tender age of 3 she was trying on shoes for summer and announced very firmly "I don't want a stalk between my toes" :rotfl2:

This isn't meant to sound patronising, but have you tried a whole day of it ever?

I only ask as the first day of each year when it's flip flop time, it really hurts between my toes, like a muscle or tendon or something has formed there over winter. It's a proper inner foot pain.

BUT...

After that one day my feet have zero issues with flip flops at all.

Some may argue that first day pain is a sign it's bad for me, but I love flip flops so much that it's worth it. Just have to remind my toes that something is going to live between there for the next for months!

I find starting with a really soft pair helps. Things like Birkenstocks can have really hard thick plastic toe stalks and can make for an extra painful first flip flop day!

I find the Crocs flip flops are the only kind I can tolerate, the toe posts are really soft so I think that helps :)

Crocs all the way. Have worn both the caymans and the flip flops on my last two trips and not a single blister! love them for Disney!
