I love the Haunted Mansion. I remember my first visit to DW, reading about it in Disney Magazine (or some other publication by them). I was scared silly to go in..but it wasn't scary, just really cool...

The Haunted Mansion is DEFINITELY my favorite attraction at MK. I ride it over and over every visit. I thought the movie was great also, but you had to have ridden the ride to even get all of the little jokes and stuff. Our yard is made up like the cemetary at HM on Halloween also. The neighborhood kids just love it!

Yeah, for a great history of the Haunted Mansion, I suggest this book: The Haunted Mansion: From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies. Its got a lot of great photos and concept art plus it shows the differences between the many versions of the Haunted Mansion. I love this book.

Yes(but mind you I am a die hard Disney fan and like anything Disney related). My sister, while she likes Disney is not as big a fan as me, and did not care for the movie. She did tell me though that she knew I would like it, just because I love all things Disney.
