This will be the first time that I am going to be in Epcot for F&W! I'm so excited and also a little overwhelmed. After looking at some of the menus from last year, everything looks so good! We'll probably forgo ADR's on the day we spend the most time there as well as split up touring between a few days. I was wondering, how much do you budget for F&W?? We're going to get a GC, I think so that we don't overspend but I have no idea how much to even plan for! Any advice would be welcome! :drinking1

I have no idea either. I'm thinking of doing an ADR for at least one day just because I think we might want to sit down and relax. We are only doing two days at Epcot during F&W. I don't want to overspend or over eat.

DW and I dont do ADRs during F&W..We each spend between 75-125/day at the booths. We do like adult beverages so that factors in pretty heavily at the prices Disney charges. IF you have never been pay close attention to the menus and prices when they come out. Most of the food is just a few bites so you really need to order several to fill up unless your a really light eater in my opinion.

We plan $50 per person per day. We don't really drink (last year I think we split 1 wine and 1 cider flight) but we really like to eat. In two and a half days in Epcot, we got every food booth stamp in our passports.

When I went last year, I put $300 on a gift card for 3 days at F&W. I came home with about $40 left on it after 3 days of the festival. My friend and I tried a food offering at just about every booth and traded off buying the beverages.

As a reference my son and I just did F&G, ate at least one item, most of the time two and at least one alcoholic drink at each of the 13 booths. We spent at least $200. We shared all the dishes, had 2 pre-booked ADRs, one tea at the GF and one dinner at HBD. While there one mid-morning we decided we wanted to eat at another TS so I booked an ADR for that night at Paris. Another night, again we decided around noon we wanted at TS that night so I booked dinner at Spice Roads. We did not go to Epcot on the day we ate at HBD or the day we had tea at GF, we did get a walk up lunch at Skipper's Canteen that day. When I went to F&W last year, I had only one ADR for 5 days, again tea at GF. Other than that all my food except breakfast came from F&W. I did have a food and wine pairing dinner at Spice Roads, a culinary seminar every day, which included a sample of the food they were cooking. I took all I had to get at least one thing from every booth during that time and sometimes it wasn't a food item. I spent $200 on booths for just myself.

The portions are going to be pretty small, basically just a small tasting potion. It is great to check out food photos online first to see what looks good. We usually try 2 or 3 things, and have a real dinner somewhere. I think someone could easily spend $75 a person in a day if just doing F&W, even more if adding alcohol.

I think you should expect most prices to rise, maybe about 25 cents higher than the previous year's price.

I can easily spend 75-150 a day there depending on what I get and obviously how long I am there.

I suggest waiting to get your gift card until you get there. They have really cool wristband gift cards with bar code scanners that make it really quick and easy to pay for things.

There are menus that include last years prices. Look at those, decide what you most likely would have liked to have ordered, add it up, and round up to take into account price increases. That's what I do every year I go and it works really well.

I do NOT do ADRs on Food and Wine days/nights. I also plan at least 2 FULL days for it, though it's usually broken up to one full Epcot day and 2 half days... and often I do more then that.

My wife and I skipped breakfast and started eating as soon as we got in. By late afternoon, we had traveled, counter-clockwise starting at the International Gateway, and including the areas outside the World Showcase, around to Germany. By the time we reached Germany, we both agreed that we couldn't have had another thing to eat without exploding. While we had the cider flight, we didn't have any other adult beverages. While we would have liked to have tried everything, we were a bit selective, if only to avoid stomach upset. We spent about $100 ($50 each). That evening, we skipped dinner as neither of us was really hungry.

My favorites were the pulled pork at Hawaii, and the corn cheesecake in Mexico. My wife liked the Shrimp dish from Australia, and the Tipsy Laird cake from Scotland.

You're going to overspend but its pretty much worth it. Just don't get the lobster roll. There is more onion than lobster in it

Don't book an ADR. I wanted to do beaches and cream and really wanted ice cream, but we had to cancel. We were so full.

My sister and I each put $200 on our card for the day and didn't come anywhere close. We still spent a lot, but I'd say ~$100 per day is enough. If you're gonna go, go all in.

We skipped breakfast and started our day with a cronut. From there, we went to town with the most popular spots early on and saved Canada and Ireland for dinner. We also drank a good amount. At first we each purchased flights. It was way too much, so we started splitting it instead.

Does anyone know when they release the tickets for the special seminars and stuff? The cheese seminar looks amazing!

It depends on a lot - are you going to replace one meal a day or 2 with Food & Wine food? Are you going to drink at the kiosks? Those two questions make a huge difference. We usually budget $100 a person per day, but that's replacing 2 meals with F&W food plus drinks. You could easily spend even more if you drink a decent bit. If say you're only going to eat 3-4 items and no drinks you could keep it under $40 a day per person.

Our F&W experience (which we have done every year for 15+ years) is that by the end of the day we aren't hungry for a full sit-down meal. However, it actually got to the point with us that after several days of grazing we were ready to pass that up in favor of a sit-down meal. Notice the part about passing that up - no way would we do both.

Depends on how much you drink. Most items are in the $6-9 range and they are small. So if you are a big eater, you will spend more. $50-$75 per day is not out of the question. ADR's if you plan on eating around the world are usually a no-no. It's just too much food.
DH drinks his way around the world and easily spends close to $50 just in booze for a full day.
