Food & Wine Soft Opening?

I remember a few times in previous years (I think 2007-2009) there were soft openings for the Food & Wine Festival. Is this likely going to happen for 2015? And if it is, assuming the start date remains September 25, when would it likely start?

Whenever we've been there the castmember preview/soft opening was the day before. Just the f&w booths were open to get CMs used to the system and work out any glitches.

I was just wondering the same thing! Right now we leave the Monday after F&W opens, which leaves us with going opening day or the first weekend, all days I've heard are extremely crowded. I was hoping for a soft opening to avoid that.

The CM Preview begins the afternoon before opening day. All guests can purchase items from any of the open booths.

It's called a CM preview, but anyone who is in the park that day can purchase food and beverages from the kiosks.

I'm so glad to see this! We're only going for a few days and because of MNSSHP, the dates we can go to each park are really limited. If the 24th is the preview, that works perfectly for us!!

It begins when WS opens ( more or less), and continues til park closure.
Bring your patience along with your gift cards. Its a soft opening for a reason. Both the computers and readers will no doubt be experiencing glitches, and many of the food booth CMs will just be getting acquainted with their duties.

That is amazing! So we don't have to brave it for the first time that trip on the Friday (at least we'll have a lot under our belts by then )

Planned the trip around it. Managed to do the same thing in 2012 and it was great.
