Woohoo can't believe you'll be in Disney so soon! That's so wonderful you have your MNSSHP tix. I need to look into getting them with the AP discount but I *thought* that was only good on the day-of. But you were able to book in advance...hmmm...

I'd try back about the haunted carriage ride, that's weird you weren't able to book ! IDK if we are going to book it in advance, I might just keep it a more spur-of-the-moment thing if there's availability.

Yay for MNSSHP tickets! If you don't care about characters, then you will have a great time at the party, the lines are insane! I wanted to meet Jack Sparrow at the party, and the line for him was crazy so I didn't bother, I'm not wasting my night in line for a character, sorry!

I can't believe the Haunted Carriage Ride won't be available until July or August! Don't worry though, I didn't book our ride until pretty late and I still got the time and day I wanted, so you will get it!

5 days!!! I'm at 4 and I'm going crazy! I don't want to work the next 2 days, I just want to go!!!

I like meeting characters when I happen upon them without much wait. But since it takes so much of the party time to wait in those lines- I think we'll skip them.

I have today off from work (because I work a lot of weekends, my schedule is weird!), and have to go back for Thursday & Friday. Those are going to be the LONGEST days!

Yay for MNSSHP tickets! I think the character lines are really what make the MNSSHP a pain for some people, so I think you'll be fine!
Aww, there's nothing better than Disney "smells" when you're going soon (and nothing worse when you're not-- I bought a bottle of Laila in Norway in October and have been wearing it often lately. Totally depresses me for a second each morning!)!

Totally- Disney smells are awful when it's not right before a trip. Sometimes even just the temperature or the weather outside reminds me of Disney, it's painful!

Yay for MNSSHP tickets!!! That's weird that you can't book the haunted carriage ride...maybe because it's specially-themed for Halloween?

They said that it is because the dates that it's running haven't been released... at least there is more flexibility fitting that in our schedule than MNSSHP, so I don't need it to be on just one specific day.

We were able to book with or DVC discount, just have to pick up the tickets at MK guest relations and make sure we bring our DVC membership card. I'd bet it would be similar with the AP.

Yeah- the carriage ride is something everyone in the group wants to do, but I don't think it would be the end of the trip if it didn't happen! I'll just keep trying and hope for the best!

Happy belated anniversary! I love the wedding flashback - those are some wonderful pictures! I just love the colors that you had. I also enjoyed finally getting to see your travel mates for October!

And speaking of October, yay for getting MNSSHP tickets! That reminds me that I need to call and order ours, too! I tried calling over the weekend but they weren't ready yet, and then of course I forgot when they actually did go on sale.

Yeah, as far as the party goes, if you don't mind skipping the character meet and greets, you can get plenty done. Alex and I went last year, and we were able to go on all the rides we wanted, and had ample room during the parade and HalloWishes. Actually, it was kind of amazing how few people there were on Main Street during the fireworks. Compared to normal wishes, it was empty!

You guys are going to have a great time there!

My plan is to come home after work tomorrow to have dinner with Ben and wait out traffic for a bit, and leaving around 7 to make the 3 hour drive across the state. I should get to Mark's around 10.

There's no plan for Saturday. Or at least, if there is, I don't know it.
I do know that I will have to try to sleep as much as possible before the super early wake up to get to the airport on Sunday morning.

I did pack tonight- mostly. I'll finish tomorrow after work with the last minute stuff.

I got back from WDW yesterday, and I am POOPED! We ran all over all 4 parks for 5 days, and my feet ended up swollen and so sore I could hardly walk at the end.

I had no idea how much of a park commando Mark would be... I am used toa *little* more relaxing pace. But it was TONS of fun and went by way too quick. I will definitely be writing a TR, and will let you all know when I start!

And I am more ready than ever for October to get here!

My feet hurt so bad the last night, when we were watching Illuminations, I kept switching back and forth between each foot so I was only standing on one to give the other a rest, it was pathetic! I definitely need some new park shoes!

I can't believe I didn't see you ONCE! Actually, I thought I saw you when we were leaving Splash Mountain one morning, but I wasn't 100% positive, so I didn't say anything...I'm gonna be so annoyed if it was you!
