Happy Anniversary! It will be our 2nd anniversary next week, so if we're going to celebrate (I mean, other than Disney that is!) it will have to be this weekend since our official anniversary is a Tuesday and Brandon will be at work! That's crazy that we got married a week apart!

Happy Anniversary! It will be our 2nd anniversary next week, so if we're going to celebrate (I mean, other than Disney that is!) it will have to be this weekend since our official anniversary is a Tuesday and Brandon will be at work! That's crazy that we got married a week apart!

What a coincidence! A trip to WDW is an awesome celebration!

I can't believe I missed single digits yesterday! It's been a busy weekend.. Trip is even closer now!

Welp, I missed my single digit dance. And I almost missed the one week dance! But luckily, I got here just in time


I started to have that sad 'if my trip is almost here, it's that much closer to over' feeling. But then I told myself that I need to be HAPPY about going, and to get over it.

Mark drove out here for the weekend, and it was great to see him!

We were very silly and had lots of fun. We spent a lot of time talking about how close the trip is, and we figured out that we are going to have to wake up ridiculously early next Sunday. The airport is a 1.5 hour drive from his house. Our flight leaves at 6:40am. If you stop and do the math... But it's Disney, and if there is one thing that can get me to wake up in the middle of the night, that's it!

Very early. I am going to drive out to Western MA on Friday evening, so that Saturday will be a fairly relaxing day in hopes that I can store up energy to get me through that first day in Disney! Especially since I learned that Mark is pretty much set on EMH at MK on arrival day

I get jealous when I see other people's tickers at low counts.. then I realize mine is lower.. still doesn't feel right!

MNSSHP tickets went on sale today!
We went ahead and ordered our tickets for 10/16, using the DVC discount. I have never been to this party and I am SO excited!

The more I read about MNSSHP, the more nervous I was getting about how best to 'tackle' the party. But one thing I realized is that a lot of what I'm reading about how to do the party has to do with meeting the characters who aren't usually out. Like lining up for the dwarfs super early, etc. I just don't think that will be a priority for us- we mostly want to enjoy MK at night in our costumes and see HalloWishes and the parade. So I plan to relax, enjoy this extra time in the park and have fun! Oh, we'll trick-or-treat too, I am sure!

The CM on the phone today said the Haunted Carriage ride won't be bookable till July or August! WTH? You're supposed to be able to book 180 days out. I'd really like to have that squared away!

But focusing on good news: 5 days till Disney! I actually teared up this morning at work while walking dogs because there was a smell in the air that reminded me of AK. Insane!

Yay for MNSSHP tickets! If you don't care about characters, then you will have a great time at the party, the lines are insane! I wanted to meet Jack Sparrow at the party, and the line for him was crazy so I didn't bother, I'm not wasting my night in line for a character, sorry!

I can't believe the Haunted Carriage Ride won't be available until July or August! Don't worry though, I didn't book our ride until pretty late and I still got the time and day I wanted, so you will get it!

5 days!!! I'm at 4 and I'm going crazy! I don't want to work the next 2 days, I just want to go!!!

Yay for MNSSHP tickets! I think the character lines are really what make the MNSSHP a pain for some people, so I think you'll be fine!
Aww, there's nothing better than Disney "smells" when you're going soon (and nothing worse when you're not-- I bought a bottle of Laila in Norway in October and have been wearing it often lately. Totally depresses me for a second each morning!)!
