Not exactly a restaurant, but I was wondering if the F&W F goes all day or if it goes from the time World Showcase opens until close. Also, how crowded will it be, specifically 1st and 2nd day? Thanks!

It doesn't open until WS opens, because there is a rope keeping you out until it opens so you can't get to the booths anyways (and I even think the few located before the rope stayed closed until the rest of the WS opens).

Not sure about timing and crowds. I've always heard it's more crowded on the weekend due to locals.

We've been there for the first few days. How busy it is depends on the day of the week. Weekends are VERY busy. Lunch time is better than later. I believe the food is available almost to closing. Can't swear to it because we're always stuffed long before then!

The kiosks have fridges, ovens, etc. all designed to heat or cool the food as required. Sometimes one or two plates are pre-done when busy; when we've been most of have been served upon ordering. FWIW.

It will be VERY crowded the first two days (Friday and Saturday). Saturdays are generally extremely crowded, especially in the evenings.

How bad do you think it will be on the first day (Fri, I think), if we go right when it opens at 11?

If your there when it opens, it won't be as bad. We weren't there on the first day, but walked around right after opening and WS was practically empty. When you get more toward evening then the park will be busy.
