Food & Wine Festival pics....

My FH wants to know if you saw how big the cheddar cheese soup at the Canada booth is. He wants to try it so badly but we don't want to give up our CR reservation (it's where we got engaged and this is our honeymoon!) for Le Cellier.

Thanks!

We didn't see it. I would assume it's in the same 4 oz. cups they used for the butternut squash soup and the different salads we posted pics of. I can't believe I forgot to try the cheese soup!
Buttercup:)

I liked the raspberry wine from Poland. At first it was like pure alchol...but then on the way down you tasted the raspberries. Also liked the pomogrante kir and the champange from the Champange booth. also had the truffles...very very good. DH and I mostly drank around the world since we had already eaten...but I am a picky eater and would have not eaten most of it.

:) Thanks for the great pics! We are going at the end of the month and can't wait to "eat and drink our way around the World"!

Thanks for the pics- You did a great job!

Looks like the salmon portion is bigger than it was before. And if it's the same as last year the cheese soup is in the same cup as the other stuff.

Is the butternut squash soup hot or cold? Last year it was warm and very tasty but from the pictures it looks like a cool soup this year?

Thanks again-we'll be doing a mini DIS meet to eat around the World at the end of the month! I can't wait!

Thanks for taking the time to post all of these wonderful pictures on the Dis. Sure hate that we did not book our 2007 trip during the F&W fest. We realize now that we must book our 2008 trip during the food fest..

It is quite hot and tastes like baby food:) The Samosa in India is very good.

Thanks for the photos, I've never been to FW but like to in the future and seeing your photos gives me a better feel for what it is. Aside from the food my DW noted how small the crowds looked.

I am so excited... we just booked a quick trip down to the F&W for the last weekend it is running... that is what my DD asked for as her 18th birthday gift!!!!

Great pictures--thanks so much! Any chance you tried any of the wine tastings? If you did--how far ahead did you need to get into the line?

We went on Sunday 9/30 and Monday 10/1 from about 11a to 3p and expected it to be very crowded as it was the first weekend and Epcot's 25th celebration. But we were quite pleased with the crowd level. We barely waited in any lines.
Buttercup:)

We didn't try any of the complimentary wine tastings or demo's. Sorry!

I love it! Thank You! :thumbsup2

I agree. I hated the raspberry wine last year. I discovered that I will never ever like fruit other than grapes in my wine & that I will never like fruit in my beer either (from the Cherry Wheat beer).

I'm sooo envious...we left the day before F&W opened and with all the booths up and in sight we could tell it would be such a neat thing to experience...which is why we're going later and for a little longer next year...everything looked YUMMY. Awesome pics...thanks for posting!

Thanks for all the great info & pics! I really appreciate you taking the time to post everything.

Glad to see some past favorites still on the menus & lots of interesting new choices!

A week from tomorrow we'll be there. Can't wait to chow down!

Love the photos and reviews. Thanks! We're going soon and I am looking forward to it even more now. Good advice about the $5 and $10 dollar bills. :)

Excellent photos. Thanks for posting.

My stomach is not sure it can make it to dinner time now! Rumble rumble.

Thanks, cann't wait until the 19th when we will be there.

Thanks for posting your awesome pictures! We're going to miss F&W this year, so it was nice to get a "taste" of it.
