Okay, we just returned after an awesome trip to IOA?USF staying at the HRH.
Question is: What discounts are there for food at the parks, food at the resorts, and shops. I got conflicting stories even a rude remark at the park.
One girl said to me while paying at Dagwoods "If you don't know I can't tell you"????
Another took both my seasonal pass & AAA card so I ended up with 30% off, another told me 20% for seasonal & 10% for AAA. What about the resort restaurants?
I should have went to guest services but ran out of time. Thanks!

Usually, AP holders get 10% off all food places except for cart food. AAA members get 10% off all food places, even carts.

Aside from the rudeness (which is unusual), your story sounds familiar. There is great confusion about discounts, especially in CityWalk (where I recently got 20% off a meal at Latin Quarter).

Generally, annual passholders and AAA members get discounts of 10% (sometimes more). The best strategy is to pull out everything you think might get you a discount and ask the cashier.

Aloha,
With my seasonal AP I got 20% savings at mechandise stores and some carts. Sometimes they gave it to me easily and sometimes I had to insist (especially when paying for the ride photos). I got 10% savings before 3PM and 15% after 3PM at all restaurants. I rarely had to insist at restaurants. The discounts were stated on my seasonal pass folder and I made sure everyone honored them. The only time I did not get my discounts is when I forgot to ask. :p
